Hello everybody! This time I want to tell you that I traveled to “The Serena” for work. After finishing my work responsibilities, I took the opportunity to tour and get to know the surroundings. Something that surprised me is that Coquimbo was next to this commune. The only thing that separates “The Serena” and “Coquimbo” is a sign that says: “Welcome to Coquimbo”. I was intrigued that the beach of “Coquimbo” had very few people, unlike “La Serena” where there are more tourists and locals.
I had the opportunity to take a picture where I stayed. The view was very nice, although you could see the parking lot, in the distance you could also see the sea.
I walked along the “Sea Avenue” that connects “The Serena” with “Coquimbo”. I took the opportunity during this walk to enter some bars and restaurants to have some drinks and eat some snacks (in Chile they strangely call this “picotear”).
In one of the restaurants I visited, I took the opportunity to take a picture. There I ordered the house drink, tasted it and then went on to another restaurant. I went in low season, plus the trip was quick, but I fell in love because everything is beautiful.
While I was touring, drinking and eating, it started to get dark. The view was beautiful, but I could not take a good picture because the cell phone I had at the time was not of the best quality. The sand on the shore of the beach is dark, and the water was very cold (it is impossible to swim there).
Finally, the next day, I returned to Santiago. Without a doubt, I will be back. That would be all for today, see you in a future post.

Coquimbo - Chile
¡Hola a todos! En esta oportunidad quiero contarles que viajé a “La Serena” por temas de trabajo. Luego de terminar mis responsabilidades laborales, aproveché para recorrer y conocer los alrededores. Algo que me sorprendió es que Coquimbo estaba junto a esta comuna. Lo único que separa “La Serena” y “Coquimbo” es un aviso que dice textualmente: “Bienvenido a Coquimbo”. Me causó intriga que la playa de “Coquimbo” tenía muy poca gente, a diferencia de “La Serena” en donde hay más turistas y locales.
Tuve la oportunidad de tomar una fotografía en donde me hospedé. La vista era muy linda, aunque se veía el estacionamiento, a lo lejos también se veía el mar.
Caminé por toda la “Avenida del Mar” que conecta a “La Serena” con “Coquimbo”. Aproveché durante ese recorrido para entrar en algunos bares y restaurantes para tomar algunas bebidas y comer unos aperitivos (en Chile llaman extrañamente esto picotear).
En uno de los restaurantes que conocí, aproveché y me tomé una fotografía. Allí pedí la bebida de la casa, la probé y después seguí a otro restaurante. Fui en temporada baja, además el viaje fue rápido, pero quedé enamorada porque todo es hermoso.
Mientras que recorría, tomaba y comía, comenzó a atardecer. La vista era preciosa, pero no pude tomar una buena fotografía debido a que el celular que tenía en ese momento no era de la mejor calidad. La arena de la costa de la playa es oscura y el agua estaba muy fría (es imposible bañarse allí).
Finalmente, Al día siguiente regresé a Santiago. Sin lugar a dudas, voy a volver. Esto sería todo por hoy, nos vemos en una próxima publicación.
