Hello, friends and travelers greetings. The dark, cloudy, windy, cold autumn is turning soon into the winter, don't know how winter should be, Might nice with snow or icy slippery, and freezy cold.
make some plans to travel at warm place. What we did last time here is the beautiful beaches at Gokarna at southwest coast India.

A long time back I wrote about a place called Gokarna. But due to some photo updates, I couldn't write about our boat tour to the surrounding beaches of Gokarna. After staying a week in Kudle beach we decided to take a boat trip to see those very popular beaches around nearby. They are Half Moon Beach, Om Beach, Paradise Beach, Nirvana Beach, and Baada Beach lined up on the west coast of the Arabian Sea Those beaches are in Karnataka state in south India.

Orignally the ancient temples of Gokarna were a popular pilgrim destination More recently the popularity grew among foreign tourists, and the hippie community because of the mant pristine beaches in the area, nowadays also local/Indian tourists are traveling here to those beaches as well as to the temples.

Kudle Beach is a calm peaceful clean and safe beach. nicely set for relaxing, spa treatments, and yoga meditation activities. The beach faces west so seeing the sun set into the sea can be spectacular. the sunriss behind the small hills and tall coconut palms are also beautiful.

One day we took a boat trip along the coast to see a few virgin and peaceful beaches. we shared the boat with one family and we five people started around 4 o'clock.
the sea was rough and the open boat wasn't very comfortable. but it was an adventure.

the coast is a mix of lush jungle and beautiful rocks separating the beaches with the infinite blue ocean water to the west. There is a treking path connecting the beaches, the first being Half-moon beach we noticed many people treking with their backpacks. there is road access to Half-Moon Beach and Om Beach by four-wheeler or rickshaw from Gokarna town. but it is not easy to get any transport from Kudle Beach so people like to make the scenic trek. the other option is by boat.

from the boat we noticed
Half-Moon Beach

We had a choice to stop on one beach for about half an hour and take a walk or swim. The first beach from the boat is called a Half-Moon Beach, because its shape is like a half-moon. We decided to stop at Om Beach instead.

The shape of Om Beach resembles the universal symbol OM as written in Devnagari script, but we wanted to explore the other beaches father away first and stop at Om beach on the return trip.

Paradise Beach is accessible only by boat or on foot. There are no permanent structures or buildings on the beach, just a few tents that are rented to visitors. It is peaceful and quiet, maintaining its untouched natural beauty. Despite lacking modern infrastructure, some visitors prefer roughing it at this pristine beach.

We headed to the lighthouse.

beyond the mouth of the river there are more great beaches such as Nirvana and Baada but our trip was as far as the lighthouse so we turned around and headed back to Om Beach.
