Visit Wat Phrathat Doi Mon Ching, Temple style temples in Myanmar of TaiYai people community in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post, I will take friends to see another temple in the community of TaiYai people. Another ethnic group living in Thailand. This temple is called Wat Phrathat Doi Mon Ching. Wat Phrathat Doi Mon Ching is the common monastery. There is little information about this temple. From to information about Phrathat (pagoda with Buddha's relics) in this temple, This pagoda is more than 1,000 years old and has been restored until now.
This trip I took my wife to Chiang Dao District and visited this temple at the late January. This temple is about 70 kilometers from our house. And it took us approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes for this journey. I drove on highway 107, chiang mai - fang route from Fang District to Chiang Dao District. Then drive on the highway in Chiang Dao District and drive on the hill ascent to get to the temple.

Some of atmosphere and scenery on the road of this journey.

When my wife and I arrived at the temple. This temple is built in the style of the Myanmar temple. We are excited and enjoy. The temple has many architectures and sculptures that we love. And I will take my friends to see the architectures and sculptures in this temple. Let's go.

First highlight : A gold color stone pagoda, This pagoda is the simulate of Kyaiktiyo Pagoda. The pagoda is built similarly and is similar in size.

Second highlight : The large buddha image hall (viharn). This buddha image hall (viharn) is the buddha image hall (viharn) built in the style of temples in Myanmar. Looks very beautiful and unique. Unfortunately, that day the buddha image hall (viharn) was not open for visiting inside the buddha image hall (viharn).

Third highlight : Large gold color pagoda. This pagoda is built like the Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar. Looks grand and beautiful. From the information, this pagoda is a pagoda with Buddha's relics. And this pagoda more than 1000 years old that has been beautifully restored until now.

Fourth highlight : Buildings similar to buildings of the temples in Myanmar inside the temple. These buildings are unique and different from the temples of Thailand.

Fifth highlight : Bell tower. This bell tower has a unique of Myanmar style as well. And there is a small monk statue pavilion beside this bell tower too.

Sixth highlight : The statues and buddha images. There are outdoor statues and buddha images, mostly built in the Myanmar style.

Seventh Highlight : viewpoint. Wat Phrathat Doi Mon Ching is located on the mountain. So this temple is another place with a beautiful viewpoint. We can see the views and atmosphere of the villages among nature in Chiang Dao District. Chiang Dao District is a rural district in Chiang Mai that is rich in nature and surrounded by mountains.

Additionally there are many cats inside the temple. We can see cats in various places around this temple.

These are the stories and photos of Wat Phrathat Doi Mon Ching I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

You are very welcome @kriang3teejoe! You too have a great day :)

What I really like about the place was the atmosphere, it was really nice and clean and the viewpoint we're you can see some mountains around was amazing.

I agree with you. Thank you, have a nice day.

omg, I thought you went to Myanmar and it turns out it's a dupe of the famous Myanmar pagoda.

Haha thank you. But I think this place is near the border of Thailand and Myanmar. And there are ethnic groups that have some similar traditions and cultures. And I think the people who built the temple and pagoda had faith in the famous pagoda in Myanmar, so they built the Myanmar style temple here. To be able to pay homage.
