RE: Walking and talking with statues in Madrid

in Worldmappin2 years ago

i found it funny that the statues were complaining about the lack of entertainment. It's true that Madrid is a very busy city, and it can be hard to find a quiet place to relax. But I think the statues should be grateful for their peaceful existence. They don't have to worry about money or work or any of the other stresses of modern life. They can just sit there and enjoy the scenery.

I also liked your comparison between the statues and the wind turbines. It's a reminder that even though things change, some things stay the same. Don Quijote is still fighting windmills, and the statues are still standing guard over Madrid.

I think you are absolutely right, the statues should not complain! Who would have a better life than they? Their only "job" is to be still and enjoy the scenery, true! :))
