It sounds like you had a great trip to Kansas City! I'm glad you got to spend time with your uncle and see some of the city's best attractions.
The boating on the lake sounds like a lot of fun, and I love that you got to see the train exhibit at Union Station. I've never been to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, but I've heard good things about it. And of course, no trip to Kansas City would be complete without some famous BBQ!
I'm especially touched that you got to spend time looking at pictures of your ancestors with your uncle. It sounds like a really special way to connect with your mom's family history.
