Hello everyone, today I will take everyone travel to Florence, Italy. Come join us on this journey. Today, I will take everyone to walk around the atmosphere of this place. It is an atmosphere around important places that are tourist attractions that are the centers of interest for tourists.
And this time, we traveled by train from Voghera to Florence Station. We left early in the morning and arrived there very late. When we arrived, we walked to the center and waited for two Indian friends. We made an appointment to meet up with friends at a nearby market. After meeting, we had lunch at a nearby food center. Then we walked to the dome. This place is as mentioned as a tourist attraction. There are many points of interest to take pictures. There are many tourists all over the place, whether it is the market or the surrounding area.
And our trip was for two nights and three days, so we had a lot of time. But it is not possible to explore everything in one day because Florence is very large and there are many tourists at each point. Especially if you want to go up to see the view or important places, you have to queue, and each queue is very crowded. Therefore, we did not go to see everything. So it was divided into two days.
In addition to the many shops, there are street artists, art works, and musicians playing guitars for a living. This area is called Piazza del Duomo, another tourist attraction that many tourists visit. The square is located in the heart of the historic center of Florence. It is the first place that is clearly visible when walking from the market. Around here, there are restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
Just walking around is tiring enough, let alone walking up. On the first day, we went up to the red dome, which is a highlight of Florence. This dome is very high, and on the first day, we were lucky that the sun came out and it didn't rain. The walk up was quite narrow. It took a long time to get to the top, but it was worth it when we got there.
The view was beautiful. We could see the city view and the Great View of Florence from above. When we got up to this point, we were no longer tired because the view was beautiful. Along the way, there were various rest stops to see the history of this place. Talking about the history of this important place.
On the second day, the weather was not so good. There was no sun, so the weather was a bit colder than before. But it was not an obstacle for us to explore this area. In the morning, we met up with a friend to have breakfast. Nearby is Piazza della Signoria, an L-shaped square in front of Palazzo Vecchio. It is another tourist attraction related to the political center of Florence and is now a museum that exhibits art, murals, and statues. This is also a place where tourists come to take pictures.
In the late morning, it started to rain. We went up to the cathedral by queuing. Luckily, there were not many people at that time. It was lower than the red dome, so it was not too tiring. We could see the dome from the top of the cathedral. It was cold when we arrived. We could take pictures of the dome from this angle. We walked around the top and saw the view of the city, but it was raining. We were not there for long because it started to rain. We walked down and continued to walk around to see the places we had visited yesterday. There were still many places that we had not visited. Before lunch, it was almost over for another day. The obstacle was the rain that fell and our accommodation was quite far away, making today very tiring. We did not go anywhere at night. I called to order food to eat in the room.
Another day is over. The next day we had to travel back. After packing, we went to see the atmosphere of Florence. On the last day, it was the same as before, it was raining, but not too heavy. There were still a lot of tourists. Until the original, Florence Cathedral. Today, there were not as many people as the first day. Because of the weather, we got a beautiful photo angle in the rain. This place is very beautiful. It is not surprising that it is the most beautiful cathedral in Italy and the second largest. The building is made of white marble, decorated with green and pink stones. The shape of the church is carved like a painting. It took 140 years to build. The abandoned Neo-Gothic architecture with mosaics above the door is another important place of this cathedral. It is 800 years old. It was designed by a famous Renaissance artist, which is the highlight of the art on the walls of this cathedral.
And this is our Florence trip in Italy. It is a memory and another trip that I like and am very happy about because it is a beautiful place with interesting history. I hope everyone likes this trip of mine. Thank you for following. See you next time. Have a nice day.
