Amazing Coastal Lanscape from Dive Loft in Vrbnik, on Krk Island, Croatia

in Worldmappinlast year

Hello travelers,

This June I was in Croatia for a few days, as I told you before in one of my posts.
I can't say we traveled a lot or that we visited dozens of new locations and places. However, I was pleased to visit Krka National Park, Rijeka and Opatija and a bit of Krk Island.

On Krk island we visited this wonderful coastal city called Vrbnik.
Vrbnik is a historical, picturesque liitle town, located on a high rock, in East of Krk Island.
The water color of the Adriatic Sea here is breath taking. 💙

The city has all you need: taverns, coffee places and teraces, little boutiques, local food products like olive oil, honey, teas, jams, alchoholic drinks, etc.

The ambience is simply magical.
The streets are up and down, they're quite narrow and the parking places arent unlimited, to say so. It can get busy, but surely there is place for everyone.

From what I saw in Vrbnik, I loved a few places. One of them is this amazing landscape near Dive Loft Krk.

We didnt take a dive 😆 as time was short and we were unprepared but who knows, maybe other time.
There still are a lot of towns and places we didnt see on Krk Island, so maybe we'll come again one day.

The Dive Loft Krk is the place to go if you want to dive in around these waters and beaches in Vrbnik.

You can explore the depth of the sea if you want to. You just need to go to their center and make an appointment. Also make sure to receive all the instructions and rules you'd have to follow.

From this cliff, there are 100 steps down the sea, from where diving begins.

We only explored the sourroundings, the area. The views over this litlle golf are spectacular! The water is crystal turquise, with tents of green. I simply loved to see it.

In the left, you can admire the view over Zgribnica beach, the main beach in the resort.

My favorite landcape from this point was the cliffy rocks in the right of Dive Loft.

Well, lets only say that I could stay here for the entire day.
With this view, what else could you ask for? The bay, the Adriatic sea, the high cliffs, the wind, the breeze...its my favorite scenic view

Ofc, I was in the mood for some photos. Or most precisely, I wanted to be in the photos. 😅😅
I couldnt resist this spectacular cliffy landscape.

I think this was the most fabulous viewpoint in the area.
Maybe there are more, but I only saw a few so...

That looks like a very serene place. The water seems inviting, I'm sure that you'll make a point of having a splash next time.

As for little boutiques and terraces, it sounds like my kind of place.

We wanted to have a splash on the beach near by. But we were tired and we werent really prepared for a bath and it was the last day of vacation. And we were tired. Everything was just too much that day. But we enjoyed the water, our feet felt it 💙💙

I hear you with the terraces and boutiques. Same for me 😅😅

Yes, I know this place, gosh how beautiful it was, in fact the whole Cratia experience was amazing, this country has so much to show.
I cannot overlook and not write that your photos are very beautiful very expressive😉

Yes, overall, I loved Croatia.
Glad you liked my photos. They are unedited. The place itself is spectacular.

As beautiful as Croatia is, it doesn't need any editing.
You always attach to your posts very beautiful, expressive pictures, others more in detail, yes, I like the way you make your posts.

Thank you, appreciate your kind words! You know I try my best with photoshooting 😁😅

Amazing landscapes indeed.. But the water is clear and tempting..
Sure is good to jump from the cliff to the pool. Hehe..

The water is super clear. Its simply amazing!
I wouldnt jump from the cliff 🤣🤣 I'm to scared of hights or jumping in the water.

Hehe 😁😂😂

This is such a gorgeous place! Look at the color of the water! I hope you had an amazing holiday!

We had a lovely time here, there's no doubts!
I would go again anytime. ❤️❤️

A must visit place, beautiful place. Looking at the green color of the water, it seems that one should jump while standing on the shore.

Yeah. Not me, its not happening 🤣🤣
I'm afraid of jumping in the water. 😁

I prefer standing on the sea shore....or just take a normal swimm.

I'm learning swimming nowadays, and yeah I also afraid of jumping in water from such a hight.

Yes. Everything, except jumping 🤣

Thank you everyone!

I've heard about how beautiful it is in Croatia. I'm glad you found a place that is probably closer than Greece and seems to exceed in beauty. I had no idea the Adriatic was so beautiful, with such clear waters.
I'm intrigued by the names of the islands and towns, with so many consonants. I hope it was cooler there than in the too-warm Romania.

Glad to hear about you managing to have a holiday and hope you find the relaxation you need too!

Its been my first time here and I loved it. There were some places I can say they were wwoowwww, but still, I've seen some beautiful places too! 💙

I didnt expect to see this very clear water myself. The language indeed is something new. 😁
Yes, it was cool enough to desire another travel time through Croatia. We're not too far away anyways.

I hope you are all right too! And your health is not any worse. We've had a couple of really hot weeks here in West. Now we're good. But in 2 days, we'll leave home to visit Brasov and Predeal for six days. Then we'll go again to Constanta. This summer was a little "lazy", if I can say so.
But I'm thinking we're young and if we felt this way, then why not?

Sending you warm greetings!

Thank you! I can say that I'm fine and ignore the little inconveniences... of age.
Vacation is something that keeps you lazy, even if it is dynamic and tiring. That's how I like to think of vacation. I notice you do more traveling in the country and I think that's very good. Really, you are young and nothing rushes you!

Glad we could share a few words. Have a wonderful vacation!

I'm glad to hear that you are....fine.
I only wish you health! Thats more important these days, so we can share moments with our families.

Yes, this year, except Croatia so far, we decided to remain in the country. Anyways, we still have a lot of places to visit and see. I dont regret it though....I was convinced we'll go to Greece again. But some things happened and we're not going anymore. But its fine. I'm happy with our Black Sea this year. And maybe, just maybe we'll go visit Slovenia again or Italy or Austria in autumn. Hopefully we'll do hehe 💗💗 but it will be a short vacation without our kid. Only the grown ups. We only thought of it.

How is it there in Bucharest? Same as always? I guess you went to that coffee place you mentioned and talking a walk on the boulevard? Are u still doing that?
We also started to walk a bit these days, for the sake of health and walking. We use to walk in Arad, near and along Mures river. It feels so good to walk and feel the breeze.

Holidaying without a child is really desirable from time to time and usually rarely happens. I remember such moments too. Not that it wouldn't be nice with the child... but the child is like a little vampire, everything happens only around them, they are selfish by "construction", it's normal to be so. I hope your boy doesn't get upset when you leave without him because he must be very attached to you.

Short and... frequent trips are also good. Me, lately I've only been doing short and... infrequent.

It's hotter in Bucharest than ever. We stay indoors more. Apart from the Sunday walk and coffee, I've been to shows, to friends, to museums... but we seem to be in a pandemic, a heat pandemic! A much milder pandemic anyway.

The problem is that the clock is ticking, ticking... time is ticking and not in our favor.

I went to Arad, a few years ago, I think in the center, there was a big cathedral, I walked on the streets nearby and saw many old and very beautiful houses. I remember one that I think was close to the cathedral, opposite, it seemed to be in a curve. Painted green, very beautiful. The Mures I didn't see.

I'll come back with a reply. Now I'm off to bed.
Have a lovely Friday Today! 🌻

Haha... thanks! I too have started to mix up the days, a sign of relaxation. Today must be Thursday, I'm waiting for your comment, and thanks again for taking the time to chat with me.

Croatia is where I met the sea for the first time in my life. I was a little kid back then but I have been in love with the sea ever since :) Amazing country. Been there many times already. Glad to know you enjoyed your time there :) Great shots!

Thanks! The place is beautiful, so thats the reason I got some nice shots haha.

And thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and your experience about Croatia. I can see why you love it. 💙💙💙
