You've been so privileged to have been able to visit Jimbo's Cave, a true work of art, and it's great that you were able to go twice. We often postpone plans thinking they'll always be there, and this is proof that this isn't always the case.
It was definitely the right decision to go there despite what you were told, especially when you realized that while the journey was long, it wasn't as dangerous as you'd been told.
Sometimes you have to put aside the comments of others and trust your intuition and good judgment so you don't lose heart. The worst thing that would have happened if the path was so dangerous would have been to turn around and go back.
The cave was wonderful, and those mineral lines between the ice only enhanced its shape and beauty.
The hike through Cañadón de la oveja is a very beautiful place, and I was struck by how the path can be seen covered in weeds at times and then suddenly covered in snow. This is probably due to the difference in altitude that kept the cave standing.

Has sido una gran privilegiada al poder conocer la Cueva de Jimbo, una verdadera obra de arte de la naturaleza y lo bueno que pudiste ir dos veces. Muchas veces uno posterga planes pensando en que van a estar siempre a nuestra disposición y esta es una prueba de que no siempre es así.
Sin dudas ha sido una decisión acertada llegar hasta allí a pesar de que te decían, sobre todo al ver que si bien el trayecto era largo, no revestía el peligro que te habían comentado.
A veces hay que dejar de lado los comentarios de terceros y confiar en nuestra intuición y buen criterio para no quedarse con las ganas de haberlo intentado. Lo peor que hubiese pasado si el camino era tan peligroso era que tuviesen que dar la vuelta y regresar.
La cueva era maravillosa y esas lineas de minerales entre el hielo no hacía más que resaltar su forma y su belleza.
El recorrido por el Cañadón de la oveja es un sitio muy bello y llamó mucho mi atención como en tramos se puede ver el camino lleno de hierbas y de repente se ve lleno de nieve. Seguramente se debe a la diferencia de altitud del sitio que hacía que la cueva se mantuvieses en pie.
Que lindo Lau esta publicación donde nos compartís con bellísimas fotos y videos un hermoso sitio, una obra de arte de la naturaleza que ya no está.

Hola Pablo. Gracias por pasar y comentar. Este trekking es uno de los mejores de Ushuaia. Ese día solo fui hasta ahí que era la mitad del recorrido, pero la segunda vez que fui lo hice como parte de toda una vuelta que me llevó dos días. Las dos experiencias fueron increíbles, el cañadón y todos sus paisajes son hermosos. Por suerte pude ir, con el cuidado adecuado no me perdí este hermoso paisaje.
