Julley Everyone,
Beautiful day out here, somewhere around in the valleys of Sethan quite a while away from Chikka Base Campsite. Wondering around the Hamta Valley of Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
Maybe just for a moment we were lost. Lost in these endless valleys. Had no idea where to go rather just following a river river to which, at certain point we came to its source and the glacier source, which was at the moment totally melted.
Guys, the portion of reaching the glacier waterfall of Hamta Valley, where the journey beyond and before this particular point I have shared my previous posts. This expedition had quite a lot of memories and which required sharing the moments with you guys by posting another block post so as it is.
Guys, I will be pin pointing the location on worldmappin map, where you guys could get to know about this exact location in the map.
The journey begins something like this as at this particular spot. We were at around 10 AM in the morning, and we had been hiking for more than three hours. Just to reach this particular spot, and it was the land before the Jorbi Campsite, and there was another campsite which was called Jwara campsite, though the whole Hamta expedition requires 4 to 5 days, but we were trying to complete somewhere the midway or just exploring the other mountain of the valley, where we were here somewhere that we were not sure about in this nowhere land.
Guys, right in front of us, we could see the endless deep valley and the river, and we were literally walking by the side of the glacier river, which was melted at this particular season as this post is about the pre-fall of the season of this year, the previous one when usually this place is usually get covered under a thick blanket of snow, but at this particular moment, when I was here, it was dry That was completely able to explore this wonderful place and see it as clear as it seems like and capture these wonderful photographs.
Making our way through the rocks by the side of the dry glacier.
Guys, this particular spot was something that I wanted to share it with you guys and share my personal first hand experience with you guys through this post as I witnessed exploring and wondering this wonderful place here in the Himalayas and walking by the Rocky Mountain, which was a bit dangerous as there was a steep fall right into the deep river, which I was even not sure about that. What was the death of the river as this whole particular potion used to get covered by the frozen ice and was a glaciate area, and during summer, there was another pathway that people used to cover up in order to cross the Hamta Pass.
So at this particular moment, all of the water was very low in the river, and we could literally witness the trail which was by the side of the river, and write in front of us. Was this magical view of the whole valley.
Throughout our entire expedition, we were the person that we did not witnessed even a single person throughout the entire Valley and entire region. We just saw a wolf last night and that was something that kind of scared for a moment, but after always saw that wolf was wondering this Wonderland in such of food as all of the wild animals usually used to go to a lower altitude place during the winter season. As once there is snowfall at this particular place. This whole region used to get covered and I thick blanket of snow, leaving no Food to the wild animals that are native to this particular place And the animals. They are like wolf, snow leopard and Ibex.
Even at certain places beyond this particular region, there even are the yaks the himalayan Yaks that used to be here in this particular region of the.
Guys, talking about the Yaks, I have once witnessed while during my previous expedition where I have been to Bhrighu the whole valley. I saw that there were a lot of yas over there at the top of the mountain and I don’t think that I would be a photograph, but I could remember the whole memory in my mind.
Guys, another thing that amazed me when I was at this place was the vegetation of this place guys, it was totally different, and it was insane as I saw right onto the other side of the river that they were these trees that had no leaves, but seemed like that they had full of leaves, but they were a strong thick box all around that presented as the leaves as I have tried, capturing the photographs on my phone by even zooming in and capturing the beauty of it.
I was not even sure about that. What was these plants they were exactly like big tree, big and tall trees as this whole place was above the tree line and they were some sort of bush that acted as the vegetation of this Wonderland.
Ruad.
The Natural Shelter.
The cave like portion over here in this regions of Himalayas is called Roord in local language as it is for the protection of a person or an animal that acts as a natural cave, but usually they are really very deadly as if we keep something in the ward, it is most likely that we will not be able to find the word again, even if we pinpoint the exact location as there are a lot of mysteries related to it. So whenever we are in a situation that we need to cover ourselves during winter storm or something like that or in case of emergency when there is no tent as we had no tent at this particular moment, we were exploring this whole expedition Alpine style with very little equipments onto a backpack.
So such rewards are considered to be a safe place, but it is not a safe place so that we could keep our stuff over there, but usually it gets lost. Maybe we are not able to find the exact location so it’s better to always stay all together with our teammates and whenever you are in such a situation, that’s something that the local himalayan Shepherd told me .
The local shepherds, even used these cave like structures to keep the baby sheep under the word in case of extreme rainfall or snowfall in order to protect the ships from the storm and they have some sort of technique that they are able to explore and find the particular spot, but during once this whole place gets covered in a thick blanket of snow or maybe a cloud cover, so we are not even sure about that where that particular was so that’s the main reason why we have to be very extremely careful and that was something that I wanted to share it with you guys that at this particular moment, the whole valley was crystal clear and we could easily see the whole mountain sky and the valley.
A Hiking Brunch.
After wondering the place for a while, we thought why not let’s eat something as we were really very tired and we just sat there anywhere on the ground and started to have our brunch and we use the traditional way of eating food as there was this flat rock, which was kind of hot by the heat of the sun, where we kept our bread And even kept a butter so that butter and cheese it would get a little bit meditate and we could easily consume it, so that was the way how we had a food, and that led us to explore this magical wonderful Wonderland .
Guys, after wondering for a while, we finally reached closer to the waterfall, though it was at quite a deep place that we were not able to witness it being close to, as we were not sure about the death as I could bleed to some accident, so I tried capturing the beauty of it as usually in the summer.
This whole day used to be a big glacier as this is just a particular days of the year when this particular place is as clear as it seems like so guys, the whole journey it was quite tiring. Just you guys can see that the place when it looked far away, it looked that it is closed, but the whole pathway usually took us around more than one hour to just complete the whole Mumbai and reach at this particular spot.
Here is a selfie of me that I have captured so that I could share the memory with you guys.
So guys, that’s all for today, I hope you liked it.
