Last weekend we decided on an impromptu basis to go visit one of the warmest and closest beaches from my city Cumaná. This time the choice was "Playa Quetepe", being approximately 30 minutes away from the center of it. We take advantage of the fact that Sunday would end in VEN. the "week of flexibilization", which includes us moving to another Municipality quietly.
Me fascinó esta imagen, es hermosa y majestuosa. Le pedí a mi novio que se detuvise un momento para poder capturar una foto de cómo luce desde lejos la playa a la cual nos dirigíamos. Con este enfoque y a esa distancia aún nos faltaba unos 5 minutos para llegar a nuestro destino. Sin embargo, en esta fotografía ya se puede apreciar "Playa Quetepe", si nos fijamos detallamente en la esquina centro derecha.
I was fascinated by this image, it is beautiful and majestic. I asked my boyfriend to stop for a moment so I could capture a photo of what the beach we were heading to looks like from afar. With focus and at that distance we still had about 5 minutes to reach our destination. However, in this photograph you can already see "Playa Quetepe", if we look closely at the center-right corner.
En las fotos previas, quería mostrarles cómo luce la entrada al llegar. Aún se puede observar "Bienvenido a Playa Quetepe", a pesar de la vegetación que obstaculiza la visión clara de la misma. Al pasar el portón los vehículos se pueden estacionar más adelante y el pase el totalmente gratis.
In the preview photos I wanted to show you what the entrance looks like when we arrive. You can still see "Welcome to Playa Quetepe", despite the vegetation that hinders the clear view of it. When passing the gate the vehicles can be parked further ahead and the pass is totally free.
Aquí estamos nosotros, llegando felizmente a nuestro destino. Cabe destacar, que el protagonista de este paseo fue mi novio, debido a que el día anterior cumplió años y pues quisimos salir al día siguiente para continuar celebrando y qué mejor manera que disfrutar de la naturaleza y sus maravillas.
Here we are, happily reaching our destination. It should be noted that the protagonist of this trip was my boyfriend, because the day before he had his birthday and we wanted to go out the next day to continue celebrating and what better way than to enjoy nature and its wonders.
Wow, ¿Acaso no es una belleza esta secuencia de fotos? la idea era poder capturar todo el espacio de la playa en una foto panorámica central, y a la vez tomar fotos de las esquinas enfocando las montañas. Mi novio es más experto tomando fotos panorámicas, así que esa en especial es de su autoría. @jdavidpg57
Como pueden observar, esta la playa es preciosa a pesar de no ser muy extensa; se notan los matices del mar en sus tonos azules, y las puntas verdes de las montañas resaltan el paisaje. La orilla se extiende hasta unos 5 metros, ideal para que los niños se bañen sin preocupación alguna. El agua suele ser cálida en esta playa en particular y la arena no es tan fina pero sigue siendo muy cómoda para sentarnos o jugar con ella.
Wow, isn't this sequence of photos a beauty? The idea was to be able to capture the entire space of the beach in a central panoramic photo, and at the same time take photos of the corners focusing on the mountains. My boyfriend is more expert at taking panoramic photos, so that one in particular is his own. @jdavidpg57
As you can see, this beach is beautiful despite not being very extensive; you can see the nuances of the sea in its blue tones, and the green tips of the mountains highlight the landscape. The shore extends up to 5 meters, ideal for children to bathe without worry. The water is usually warm on this particular beach and the sand is not that fine but it is still very comfortable to sit on or play with.
En estas últimas fotografías ya estamos preparándonos para regresar a nuestra ciudad. Cabe resaltar que ambos disfrutados de una amena contemplación; de la paz y la recarga de energía que nos genera el estar en contacto con los elementos de nuestra madre tierra. Definitivamente visitar Playa Quetepe fue una experiencia renovadora y gratificante.
Por cierto, si se preguntan por qué no estamos vestidos más al estilo playero es debido al recorrido en la motocicleta, debemos protegernos del sol en la vía y de la fuerte brisa en la carretera. Espero hayan podido apreciar y disfrutar de estas fotografías que compartimos con mucho amor y con la esperanza de que en algún momento puedan visitar este maravilloso lugar.
By the way, if you are wondering why we are not dressed more in the beach style it is due to the trip on the motorcycle, we must protect ourselves from the sun on the road and from the strong breeze on the road. I hope you have been able to appreciate and enjoy these photographs that we share with much love and with the hope that at some point you can visit this wonderful place.
