Hello, Hive community!šŸ©·

Itā€™s been a while since I last checked in because it feels like Iā€™m constantly moving from one stressful situation to anotherā€”or maybe I just tend to turn small worries into big ones in my head.šŸ™„
Lately, things have been pretty crazy. Between studying, working, and dealing with student-life struggles, it feels overwhelming. And as if that werenā€™t enough, they raised student wages by a laughable 14 cents! This means that we student workers now have to share only 50 hours, which is just terrible-before we have 130 hours.šŸ«

However, I found an opportunity in Austria, and I really hope it works out. At least I donā€™t need to know much German, but Iā€™ll still learn something while workingā€”practice makes perfect, right?šŸ˜‡

Next week, I have an important exam, and after that, I start my internship. Today, I found out that Iā€™ll be working in the pulmonary department, and I really hope it goes well. Iā€™m a bit nervous because I donā€™t know exactly what to expect, but Iā€™ll treat it as a valuable learning experience.šŸ˜ŠšŸ“š

Since my boyfriend and I agreed that we needed a day without stress, we decided to take a break from studying and visit Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia. We both needed to unwind, get some fresh air, and do something that would lift our spirits.šŸ©·

Our day started quite calmly but with a clear goalā€”to relax and enjoy the little things. First, we went shopping because my boyfriend wanted a new desk. Finding the right one turned out to be a longer process than we expected. We walked from one store to another, comparing models, checking prices, and figuring out which one would fit best in the apartment. By the time we finally found the perfect one, it was already noon, and our stomachs were letting us know it was time for lunch.

We headed to Gostilna Verdi, where we treated ourselves to a well-deserved meal. I ordered chicken strips with roasted potatoes, while my boyfriend had a salami pizza. The food was excellent, the ambiance pleasant, and despite the restaurant being full, the atmosphere remained relaxed. Sometimes, all you need for a great day is good food and good company.

After lunch, we took a walk up to Ptuj Castle. Luckily, the weather was sunny, making the stroll even more enjoyable. The climb to the top isnā€™t long, but it offers an amazing view of the town and the Drava River.

Ptuj Castle, which today operates as part of the Ptuj-Ormož Regional Museum, houses valuable collections of historical weapons, furniture, and artwork. One of the most fascinating exhibits is the collection of traditional carnival masks, with the famous Kurenti, who represent one of Sloveniaā€™s most iconic ethnological traditions. The whole experience was a perfect escape from everyday worries.

To wrap up the day, we decided to stop for a cup of coffee at a local coffeā˜•ļø.We took our time, enjoyed the moment, and simply let the day unfold at its own pace. Then, we headed home, where one last task awaited usā€”assembling the desk. After a long day, this was the final challenge, which also brought some laughs. Despite struggling with the instructions, making a few mistakes, and feeling a little frustrated at times, we managed to put it together in the end.šŸ˜‚

It was a perfect dayā€”relaxation, great food, some movement, and a sense of accomplishment. Even though I still have a lot of responsibilities ahead, this day gave me the energy to face upcoming challenges with a fresh mindset. Sometimes, itā€™s really important to take time for yourself, step away from obligations, and simply enjoy life.šŸ©·

Love you so much šŸ’–šŸ’–

I love these architectures. We are next-door neighbors, yet they look so different than ours. I have been to Slovenia some years ago and visited the castle of Ljubljana, it was really fascinating. This seems beautiful as well šŸ˜Š
Thank you for showing this. Greetings from Italy :)

If you ever have the chance to visit Slovenia, you must come to Ptuj! Slovenia is a small but very beautiful country. This summer, Iā€™m going on vacation to Italyā€”I canā€™t wait! šŸ˜

I will come back for sure, there are many places I want to see there. But now I'm living in Sardinia and it's a bit more difficult, it was easier when I was in northern Italy.
Where are you going on vacation? What region? šŸ˜

You are welcome! Why is more difficult?šŸ˜ƒ
We decided to go to Bibione Spiaggia first, where we will spend the night (I hope I wrote it correctlyšŸ˜‚)Then, every day, we will take the car and visit a different placešŸ˜ƒ And yes, if you have any suggestions for places we could visit, please write them downšŸ¤©

It's more difficult because there are no direct flights, no trains... when I came to Slovenia last time I used Flixbus šŸ˜
Yeah, Bibione, you wrote it correctly. I have never been there, though.
I don't know that area so well, honestly, I just visited Venice, Padova, Verona and Trieste, and traveled across the region a couple of times.
I'm not the best person to give you a help, but I would love to. What would you like to see the most?

Ohh shit :/ā€¦niiiceešŸ˜„yes yes Venice I would also go to Venice.šŸ¤ÆIt is my biggest wish to visit Venice and RomešŸ˜ā€¦Oh itā€™s fine all will search on google or maybe on Tik-TokšŸ˜„šŸ™Œ

Well, if you have never been to Venice, you have your answer šŸ˜
Also, there is a place that I really desire to visit someday, but I have never been there so far. It's a bit distant, depends on how many kilometers you want to drive - but probably there are good connections even with public transport. The place is named Sirmione, on the lake of Garda.

(photo taken by Google, I hope it's not a problem)

But what I want the most is to ride a gondola on the river, maybe visit some landmarks, museums, illusion museumsā€¦.šŸ˜„

The place is very beautiful, I hope that in the future you will not be burdened by work anymore, and your days will be pleasant, the place is very pleasant and beautiful, I enjoy it ā¤ļø

I hope so toošŸ™but I still have to endure for two more years to finish my studies, and then it will be betteršŸ˜„Thank you very muchšŸ„°šŸ©·

Wow what a beautiful picture

Thank ušŸ˜ŠšŸ™Œ
