The Vegetable Farm Location:
Isidro's Vegetable Garden or Farm is located at the heart of Bukidnon particularly in Alae. This place contains a very wide plain areas, with mountainous places. From Barangay Poblacion Manticao, it needs to travel almost 6 hours depends on how traffic and crowded to road is before we reach this place. This Farm is quitely far from urbanized places and Cities and only few houses can be seen and built here and most owner of it are the vegetable owners.
This are the houses built on the top of the hill and near of it are this majestic mountains in Bukidnon, this is also a border between Manolo and Kitao-tao. Those houses are made of light materials just like plywoods, lumbers, round lumbers and plainsheet. It built the houses very unique and they preferred to built small houses so that it wont easily blown away by strong winds. The land is very fertile because of the composted dry leaves and any biodegradable materials in the place. Even if it is far from cities, this area also run by electricity.
There are also some few hard wood trees grows near at the Farm. Some of it are Molave, Mahogany and even Prakatta trees. This is good for construction porpuses just like building chairs, tables, walls, and floors. This gives the place a nice and relaxing views and areas and perfect for resting for a minute. Farm raising animals like cows and goats is very perfect in here because of warm weather and lots of grass grows near at the Farm.
Not only vegetables were planted in here but also valuable crops like Camote and Cassava crops. This area contains lots of camote crops, the farmers make a plot first before planting those crops. It is found near at the Farm to Market road, the Government made the project so that farmers can easily bring their products to the Market and can also accessible by any kinds of trucks and other kinds of vehicles. They also removed wild grass in the Garden and farm so that the place will keep always clean and the plants grows healthy.
They also planted more peanuts and it is very perfect here because of the fertile soil. The soil contains for fertilizer and easily plowed. First they plowing the land before planting the nuts. Almost a hectare of land filled with peanuts and some of it are nearly harvested for the next, next month. They also prepared more barrels and gardening hose so that it will be easily to watered those plants, and a spray tanks used to get rid of the pests on the plants.
The Farm to market road is very important and very helpful to all farmers here, they can load their products easily in the trucks. The crops and vegetables will be carried to the City and other parts of the place of entire Mindanao areas.
On the other hand, this river also helps to all farmers here specially by getting water for their plants and crops. This submersible bridge connects the two Sitios in Bukidnon and trucks came from the Farm also passes by here.
Bukidnon is a place known for vegetables and crops producers, because of the warm and fertile soil, people can produced healthy plants and crops. This will help them for their family needs and aside of that, there are already few establishments built at the place indicates that this area continues on its progressive situations.
