In North Sumatra, especially in Langkat Regency, the last 5 years have been the beginning of a revival for tourism in the Regency. Many new tourist attractions have emerged in this district and all the tourist attractions that have emerged in the past 5 years are aimed at natural tourist attractions and family entertainment venues. All levels of society enthusiastically welcome this, but we must also understand that everything that exists must bring two things simultaneously, namely positive and negative aspects. And I will explain these two things. And now I will show you my vacation to the Pamah Semelir artificial river.
Even though it is said to be a holiday, I took a weekday because when I was here on a weekend the place was very busy so I couldn't enjoy the Artificial River in Pamah Semelir. So when my friends and I planned to come to this place again, I chose a weekday so that the place was much quieter and we could all enjoy the view here. And this trick proved to be very successful and I really enjoyed my trip this time.
Previously, this place was a protected forest area within the scope of the Langkat Regency Government, the place was very beautiful and to get here the roads were very muddy, but now all the roads are smoothly under control. And at this tourist spot, all the roads have paving blocks installed so that there are no more slippery and muddy roads. And this river made by Pamah Semelir has an area of 2 hectares with views of the misty mountains and a mini waterfall which was made by the management. However, what is made here is that the springs come directly from the mountains, then waterways are provided and pools are built that resemble rivers, so they look very beautiful.
The large rocks around this artificial river are real rocks that come from nature, not cement made to look like rocks and these rocks were deliberately arranged to create a dam so that the spring water only flows to one destination. And all its beauty is presented in the photos that I share. And I will also share information with all of you, even though you come to this place in the summer and it is very hot, but this place is very unique. This uniqueness is because the rain will suddenly come with thick fog that accompanies it, making this place very cold.
So if you come to Sungai Pamah Semelir, you have to bring an umbrella and a coat because these are the things that are really needed in this place besides food and a change of clothes. Oh yes, you are free to bring any supplies here so it really helps to save expenses. To enter this tourist spot you must pay an entrance ticket of Rp. 20,000 or if converted it is equivalent to 1.2 U$ Dollars. And you are free to explore this place for one day and you can camp at this place or there is accommodation here too.
And when I saw this beauty, as I promised at the beginning, there were several negative things that this new place caused, namely the large amount of plastic waste scattered around and the many visitors who were not environmentally friendly, which caused many of the herbal plants here to be trampled. I'm really sad, but all of that must have a price. What do you think of this new place? Greetings from me, Tomi Diwirja, Idnonesia
