Đình Đồng Museum- A Place of Beauty and Peace

in Worldmappin3 years ago (edited)

Most people will think about the beautiful beaches, resorts, and vast natural landscapes when they ponder what the city of Da Nang in Vietnam has to offer. However, there is much more to this coastal city that meets the eye and the city has a number of museums which has preserved the historical relics and artifacts that testify to the richness of Vietnamese culture in general. One such monument is Dong Dinh Museum Houses where you can find a collection of items from regional ethnicities and cultures. 🙂

I love when I find a museum that is not only filled with art and history but is also peaceful and secluded. When I walk into one of these museums, it feels like I'm in another world.

The Dong Dinh Museum is a private museum located on the Hillside of Son Tra Penisula and about 10km northeast of Da Nang's city center. The museum was opened in 2011 and has become one of the must-sees if when you visit the city. Dong Dinh offers a space where a sense of cultural depth, ancient quality, and artistic quality are found, especially in a setting that is surrounded by greenery. This museum is not only filled with art and history but is also peaceful and secluded. When I walk into it, it feels like I'm in another world and back to the old days.

Mr. Doan Huy Giao has collected many valuable antiques over the last 40 years of making television documentaries in all regions of the world. The simple purpose of his work is to create a unique cultural address that combines ecological conservation with the preservation of the ancient cultural values of the country. Quote

Dong Dinh's name is taken from a popular tree, Caryota Mitilour, which has grown in the area, and Son Tra National Forest. As a natural highlight for the general ecological landscape, this tree is planted around the museum.

The local residents have grown accustomed to calling it "the garden of memories" since it can be a place for reflection and relaxation. There are many cultural spaces inside the park where people can learn about the history of our country.

It was very peaceful, ancient, and right in the mountains at first, so I thought it was a monastery. In addition to containing both ecological space and art and culture space, this place vividly reproduces the culture of the past. The museum has been carefully designed to allow for space in the forest, providing an almost untouched area for its visitors to explore after exploring the exhibits. The natural beauty of this area is what sets it apart from most other museums.

This has helped create a space that feels very tranquil and serene. One can feel this serenity when looking at the forest in the background. When walking around, one can see how it's designed with circular paths that allow visitors to stop and appreciate all that surrounds them without detrimental impacts on nature. That's the reason why the foundation of respecting nature when selecting the building site of the owner is greatly respected and appreciated. :)

Nature has bestowed this place with so much beauty that visitors will be awestruck. The museum lies peacefully under the green trees in the middle of the scenic Son Tra Penisula. The place is tinged with ancient colors, combining a subtle breath of generous nature. It's truly is a place of beauty and peace.

The museum contributes to enriching the city's cultural tourism as well as the recommended space for those who love to learn about Vietnamese history and culture. If you're visiting the city, don't miss this hotel because it is right in the heart of the famous tourist spot, from which you can combine visiting other places. The Museum is one of the famous museums in the city and has been preserving many unique and cultural features as well as relics and artifacts from many indigenous ethnic groups in The Central. 🙂
