Hey there! Yes was lovely clean water to wash off in. There are pockets of mangroves in the area but where we were there were none. We don't have a time limit for travelling, just going with the flow at this stage😊

We have a mangrove region just a little north-west of us and the mud reminded me of that. There a board walk and it's a lovely place to see, but a mosquito's paradise!

Definitely potential for mangroves to grow there, they may have been growing further up the lagoon, this mud patch was fairly close to the ocean.
