Today we are here to explore more about this village which is famous for it's sending beauty and adventurous route. As the village is full of historic places in attracts tourist from all over the world and I am one among them. So join me this journey and let's export together.
The Nako Village
Reaching this place is real task as it is situated at an altitude of 363 m and is among the highest village in Kinnaur Valley. There is a beautiful lake which is formed out of ice and melted snow above the Nako village. The water of the village is crystal clear and the temperature here is in negative during the night which makes it difficult to stand and stay outside. The whole village is famous for Apple production as the quality of the Apple here is amazing and they are worth buying. I am occupation of people here is agriculture.
As this village is situated at the highest altitude you can see the standing and beautiful peaks of Himachal Pradesh. Situated at the border of Indo Tibetan border this place is extremely beautiful although it's barren yet beautiful. From here the mountains of Himalayan and trans Himalayan ranges are clearly visible specially Reo Purgyil which is 6816 m and among the highest peak in Himachal Pradesh. I visited this place was Sunny and I was lucky enough to see the snow covered peaks.
Mountain Ranges Visible From The Nako Village
Very famous range you can see from here is Leo Pargial ranges. This ranges include numerous mountains generally snow kept during winters and they are sharp with logy outcrops. Those who love adventure and mountains this place is must visit. This whole area will surprise you in it's own way and you will definitely be amaze. For me the adventure here is unless the more you explore the more it and falls in front of you. To explore the whole area in depth, I think it will take years and years.
And on the east side of nago towards the Spiti Valley you will see Sheela peak which is 6100 meters. These peaks are famous among trackers and adventure seekers as the love the challenging climbs of the Shilla peak. From the dark village you will get the 360 degree view of the whole area and usually you will see the mountains covered with snow all around you.
The view of the snow capped peaks and and the trans Himalaya ranges from this village is totally incomparable and majestic. Also this village has a rich cultural heritage as it has monasteries that belong to 11 the century which are part of Tibetan Buddhist tradition and the monastery is called history. This Monastery is an important pilgrimage site and to see the history people from all over the world visit this village. The village is famous but its bit remote and the roads are really challenging. Houses hair are made up of stones and wood in ancient way which shows the rich culture of the village.
I was here with one of my friend and we try to explore as much as we can and we found out there are more spiritual sites in this village and it also has Tashigang gang monestry which is situated nearly 1 km away from the Nako village. You can also track to nearby pics and values and explore more about the area. This village serve as a base for popular tracks such as ropa valley and Jango Valley. Please tracks are really challenging I wish to go on these tracks so that I can learn more about the pics and about the challenging trains.
This village is nothing less than heaven for those who love to track, love mountains and seek spirituality between the nature. As the village is removed and far away from the cities you will find peace here and you can also meditate here as monks during the old days used to do in the monasteries of Naco village. There are number of factors such as the cultural richness the tranquil landscapes the 11th century monasteries make this a unique and must visit destination for every traveller and adventure seeker out here in the world. And I have clicked this pictures with my iPhone and Nikon camera.
