If we want to see the nicest, most beautiful places in the world, we have to travel far far away?
Well, it doesn't really have to be that way. Many times we don't see and appreciate the nature that is right around the corner.
I feel quite fortunate to have so many beautiful places to see and explore close to home. Especially now with summer (pretty much) coming our way, I spend as much time as I possibly can, outside, breathing fresh air, listen to the birds, say hello to other people around the area and giving a few pats to the dogs crossing my path.
South Australia is not only full of gorgeous beaches, but also has plenty of local parks, not only the small ones with playgrounds, but also bigger ones, where you can literally walk for hours and still won't get to the other side.
The trail that I'm showing today is only a small part of a trail that follows 30km of river Torrens and you can start wherever you'd like or is closest to you and go to either a direction towards the city or the beach. It only takes me a short drive to get to my closest starting point and I normally walk towards the beach (about 45 mins one way). It is a perfect daily walk and due to many trees, it provides enough shade for those hot, sunny days.
You can cross bridges and go from one side to another whenever you like. The trails are suitable for walkers, joggers or cyclists. Explore the area, listen to the trees, wind, the river, birds, funny sounds of tiny frogs, see some lizards on the way, ducks....
...be amazed by what people come up with while walking. Here it seems like the tree was cold so they put scarfs around it ? Well, whatever the reason, it brings some laughter and breaks the normality :D
There are some interesting tiles on the floor, I'm not sure if there is any meaning behind it but it looks cute :)
Make sure to say hello to the horses right before you get close to the beach.
Have some rest and sit on the bench..
..or just anywhere on the grass!
And of course, don't forget to smell the roses :)
Are you fortunate and have any special places like this close to your home? Where do you like to recharge from daily life?
I do hope each of you have some amazing spots like this around you, that make you feel grateful for life and beauty surrounding us. Peace and love to all..
Thanks for watching, see you next time Hive tribe!

What a beautiful park. The trees are so big and beautiful. I just posted about a garden that I am a member of and I am going to start going more often. I have the membership and want to use it and more importantly I want to be out in nature more and around plants.

Ahhhh, eucalyptus trees. I grew up (well, live, don't know how much growing up I did) in San Diego, where there were groves upon groves that filled canyons and parks. I don't miss living there, but I miss that smell. Yum...
Hmmm the smell of eucalyptus is really amazing! No wonder koalas love to eat so much of it haha :)
