🥇 El Escorial - A Palace, A Monastery and An Art Gallery by @larissalugo

El Escorial is a palace, a monastery, a seminary and college and a church all at once. Everything is combined in one place. With this structure Philip the second aimed to showcase Spain’s true position in the world during the 16th century. At that time Spain was indeed a powerful empire with grand ambitions, exerting vast influence through its colonies in the Americas and Latin America. Moreover, during Philip the second’s reign, the Philippines in Asia were named after him and became a Spanish colony.

🥈 Regen? Kein Problem! Mosbach begeistert | Rain? No problem! Mosbach inspires 🌦️🌞 (de/en) #51 by @vanje

The last day of the trip began with a typical German weather phenomenon: rain. Mosbach, our destination was only 50 kilometers from home, and we briefly considered whether we should just end the day in the camper van. But then we said to ourselves: “There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!” - and so we set off to explore the charming town in the Neckar-Odenwald district. And what can I say? It was worth it!

🥉 World's Largest Lily Pads by @vegoutt-travel

Dear friends, our adventure through Thailand continues. Today, we leave the stunning island of Koh Samui and head to Phuket. I have travelled to close to 100 countries and have been through countless airports, and the Koh Samui airport has to be one of the most unique on earth. The entire airport feels like a tropical resort.

Thank you for featuring me in the Travel Digest! I was truly delighted to secure 2nd place. Honestly, I thought I had shot myself in the foot this time because I experimented with some HTML in my post, only to later realize that it caused display issues in editors other than PeakD. After publishing, I made some adjustments and added a few notes to improve readability. I also want to congratulate the other authors for their amazing work! A big thank you to @worldmappin and curator @glecerioberto for their support and dedication!

Wow! thank you so much guys
