When I come back from a trip and drive into the northern part of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, I always feel the same emotion and awe. The same feeling I had when I came through here for the first time. Back then it was a trip into the unknown - now it feels like coming home.

When you drive through the mountain pass leading to northern Snæfellsnes, it feels like entering another world. It's not just me who feels this way – many tourists staying at our guesthouse say the same.

Well our cruise just continued to get better and better. My husband and I didn't decide to cruise for the ship experience, we had an inside cabin with no windows so guess that saved us a fortune. We wanted to cruise for the destinations that the cruise offered. We realised that if we wanted to see 15 cities in 7 countries on our own it would be logistically tedious and extremely costly.

Hello dear travel enthusiasts. In my previous post I talked about our first day on the island of Majorca, Spain. In this post I would like to share what we did during the other two days we spent on the island. You can reach the island from Barcelona by ferry or plane. I chose to fly because of the 30 minute flight duration and affordable tickets. Airline tickets start from 10 euros one way and there are many flights to the island every day. We took a bus to the city of Palma de Mallorca. You can buy tickets from the machine at the stop or pay the driver directly in cash.
