Sunday Hike from Talamban to Sirao, Cebu City

This video is just a collection of clips from our hike last Sunday. I wanted to share this because it's my first hike after a while. I'm just so happy I didn't ditch this hike. For context, I was not able to hike in a long time because of everything that happened, and you might be aware of all of it. I have shared almost everything here, so just read my previous posts if you haven't caught up yet. Anyway, my hiking friends post their invitation almost every week, and I initially agreed to hike with them but ended up ditching them at the last minute.

I don't know what happened last Sunday because I slept early the night before even if I was supposed to be awake the whole night, and then I woke up early, took a shower and then left the house to hike. Glad I changed my routine just for this because it was so refreshing to finally hit the mountains after almost a year. It was an almost 20-kilometer hike with an elevation gain of 1000 meters.

What I like about hiking with these people is the variety of routes to reach the same destination. They're not contented with the same established routes, so it's almost always an exploratory hike with them. I mean, I've hiked from Talamban to Sirao or Kan-irag more than I could count, but it's not always the same route. So, there's always something new to discover along the trail.

They're already planning for another hike this weekend because they're preparing for their major climb to Mt. Guiting-Guiting this third week of March. Guess what? I'm already adjusting my schedule to hike with them this weekend because I want to be more active again.

I guess that's all for this post. See you in the next upload!

So good to see you went out for a hike again 😊 well done.
I can imagine it was nice and refreshing.
Beautiful captures. The clarity of the video is awesome. What do you use to capture it?

Great you are already adjusting your schedule to go again on a hike with them. Hole you manage.
Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day 😎

Thank you, my friend! I only used my old but still works phone for this video. However, there's an enhance option in Capcut that I clicked and I'm amazed by the outcome. It took a while to render and load though.

Have a wonderful day to you too, my friend! 🤗

Really that’s cool. Will have to look into to Capcut as my phone videos (iPhone 11) don’t come out that well. It looks good on my phone but after posting the quality is way down. I posted a video in todays post. A shame actually as my photos are nice. Thanks for the info. It does look like it is worth the render time. 😎

Thank you 🤗

I saw some very interesting pictures my friend

Actually, there are many challenging things in life. We cannot do many things easily, but if we have love for that thing in our mind, then of course, no matter how difficult it is, it becomes easy to complete it. Have you gone back to hiking after so long? It is actually great and I think it is an incredible record that you have finally reached a mountain of 1000 meters in height. Because it was not easy to do it after so long. It was a great experience and I loved it. Best wishes

From the video above I can see the natural beauty that is truly extraordinary, a very suitable place to spend time. It is truly extraordinary, have a nice day, my brother 🙏♥️

Omg! Amazing routeee 🤩🤩

Wow! My friends are also planning to go. It's wonderful that you enjoy hiking because it benefits both our minds and bodies. This site is incredible!
