I think I see what you mean? It depends on the context, it's different for art, photography, for sculpting, music, dancing, etc...Because it requires a lot of time first to master an art, and then making something requires even more time so there's no real need to write a lot of words, if your art speak for itself.
All in all though noone should take this post seriously, it's really light hearted and jokingly written, as you mention all very sarcastic!
but yes, becoming a whale isn't an easy job so the guide is worthwhile for many people on hive.

Haha. Sarcasm is something, I love the most (reading....writing sarcasm in a language other than my mother tongue seems quite difficult to me, so I never wrote sarcastic in English)
I think what strong message a funny sarcastic piece can deliever, a serious piece cannot.
