Perhaps you had become too stubborn, and needed to see and experience this for yourself in order to effect change, you didn't see it then, but look where you are; you have just come to terms realizing things you should have seen a long time ago.You have probably been repressing a lot of the situations you have been in, whether by choice or beyond your control.
I can say that as speaking with experience, not to the extent and circumstances that you have been through, so I cannot compare those set of circumstances, but I can say there were things I needed to change, and without the heavy duty challenges, I would never have seen.
Whatever the case is and where you are at, know that we all love you and take you for the person you are and we will all pray for you that you come to terms soon with this so you can reasonably decide how to move on. Do not ever give up, you are too stubborn to do that!
You can call me stubborn because I often ignore my inner voices and thought I am fine, and nothing will happen, and constantly ignore my emotions and mental issues. Every incident of my life put a big impact on my present and now I am in a delicate position. Now boom and all coming together in front of me. But I am trusting the treatment process and hope I will get better...
