La vida en ocasiones puede presentarse con un gran vértigo y un sin fin de emociones tan maravillosas, tan lindas como puede ser la celebración del cumpleaños de nuestros hijos!
El 21 de marzo del 2020 es un día que difícilmente olvidaré ya que aquel día Dios me envió de regalo un pequeño torbellino que vino a cambiar nuestros días, es el día en que Almendra decidió llegar a este mundo.
Recuerdo aquel día con una gran mezcla de emociones. Por un lado la enorme felicidad que se siente al convertirnos en padres nuevamente, esta vez con algo de experiencia, menos ansiedades y más seguridades. Por otro lado el temor y la incertidumbre que se vivía por aquellos días a causa de la famosa pandemia.
Life can sometimes present itself with a great vertigo and endless emotions so wonderful, so beautiful as it can be the celebration of our children's birthday!
March 21, 2020 is a day that I will hardly forget because that day God sent me as a gift a little whirlwind that came to change our days, it is the day Almendra decided to come to this world.
I remember that day with a great mix of emotions. On the one hand the enormous happiness of becoming parents again, this time with some experience, less anxieties and more assurances. On the other hand, the fear and uncertainty that we lived in those days because of the famous pandemic.
Este cumpleaños era el primero en que lo festejaríamos a lo grande en una casita de fiestas para que ella pudiese disfrutar junto a sus compañeros de jardín de infantes, familiares y amigos la llegada de sus 4 años, algo muy esperado por ella.
Gracias a Dios mis suegros y la tía de mi esposa nos dieron una mano enorme con la comida y con la torta del cumple, lo cual descomprimió nuestros tiempos y nos permitió de otros asuntos que a causa del fallecimiento de mi abuela se habían atrasado.
La semana anterior al cumpleaños ella había elegido como temática de cumpleaños las princesas. Ella es fanática de Frozen, de Rapunzel y de Moana y quería una torta de princesas.
La tía de mi esposa es muy hábil con la repostería y todos los años les prepara a mis dos hijas las tortas que ellas le piden.
This birthday was the first one that we would celebrate in a big way in a party house so that she could enjoy with her kindergarten classmates, family and friends the arrival of her 4th birthday, something she had been looking forward to for a long time.
Thank God my in-laws and my wife's aunt gave us a huge hand with the food and the birthday cake, which decompressed our time and allowed us to take care of other matters that had been delayed due to my grandmother's death.
The week before the birthday she had chosen princesses as her birthday theme. She is a fan of Frozen, Rapunzel and Moana and wanted a princess cake.
My wife's aunt is a very skilled baker and every year she bakes my two daughters the cakes they ask for.
El día del cumpleaños fue bastante ajetreado ya que no solo teníamos los festejos del cumpleaños en la casita de fiesta sino también en el jardín de infantes donde se acostumbra a llevar una torta para celebrar y cantar el feliz cumpleaños con sus compañeros de aula.
Esta es una experiencia muy linda donde los niños disfrutan de una manera muy especial y mucho más cuando se tiene la suerte de tener como docentes a dos personas maravillosas como lo son las maestras Marcia y Paola.
Después de las celebraciones nos retiramos con Almendra para prepararnos para la casita de fiestas. Llegamos a casa nos cambiamos y salimos hacia la casita de fiestas para ir a disfrutar del día de nuestra pequeña.
Ya a esa altura estaba todo listo, solo debíamos relajarnos para disfrutar junto con nuestra pequeña de ese cumple que tanto estaba esperando.
The day of the birthday was quite busy since we not only had the birthday celebrations in the party house but also in the kindergarten where it is customary to bring a cake to celebrate and sing happy birthday with their classmates.
This is a very nice experience where the children enjoy in a very special way and even more when they are lucky enough to have two wonderful teachers like Marcia and Paola.
After the celebrations we left with Almendra to get ready for the party house. We got home, changed and went to the party house to enjoy our little girl's day.
At that point everything was ready, we just had to relax and enjoy with our little girl the birthday she was waiting for so long.
Poco a poco fueron llegando sus amiguitos y la su fiesta comenzó a tomar forma. Ver su carita de felicidad y verla disfrutar tanto hace que todo ese cansancio que uno siente por andar corriendo de un lado para al otro valga la pena, porque en definitiva uno hace cualquier esfuerzo por nuestros hijos.
Al promediar la fiesta llegó el turno de una sorpresa que le habíamos preparado al contratarle a una imitadora de Elsa de Frozen con quien cantaron las clásicas "Libre Soy" y "Si hacemos un muñeco".
La sorpresa de los chicos quedo plasmado en sus caritas y en la atención que le prestaban coreando las canciones de principio a fin.
Luego siguió el turno de cantar el cumpleaños con todos sus amiguitos para terminar de cerrar un día que Almendra nunca olvidará.
Nuestros hijos crecen muy rápido y por ello debemos disfrutar al máximo de cada instante .

Little by little her friends arrived and her party began to take shape. Seeing her happy face and seeing her enjoying herself so much makes all the tiredness we feel running around worth it, because in the end we make every effort for our children.
Halfway through the party it was the turn of a surprise that we had prepared for them by hiring an impersonator of Elsa from Frozen with whom they sang the classics Libre Soy and Si hacemos un muñeco"
The surprise of the children was reflected in their faces and in the attention they paid to her, chanting the songs from beginning to end.
Then it was their turn to sing the birthday song with all their little friends to end a day that Almendra will never forget.
Our children grow up very fast and that is why we must enjoy every moment to the fullest.

La realidad amiga es que en esto de la paternidad/maternidad no hay ejemplos porque cada chico es único. Las claves son amor, atención y no perder un instante porque crecen muy rápido.
Vos sabes que nuestras peques son totalmente diferentes, comparando las mismas etapas, por lo que funcionaba para una quizá no funcionaba para la otra, por lo que hay que ir adaptándose para poder cubrir sus diferentes necesidades de la mejor manera.
Debo confesar que al principio no estaba muy convencido con el nombre y hoy me encanta.

I can't believe it either that it's already 4 years old !!!! It's beautiful to see our children grow up but if you stop to look back for a second and see how fast everything has happened it gives a bit of nostalgia.
Almendra had an amazing time, she had been waiting for her birthday to celebrate it in a party house for a long time.
It is very nice to see her enjoying her day with her friends. As you say, it is a very special day for us too, and we are overcome with a lot of emotions.
