There's a little picnic park near me that always has a lot of field mushrooms but usually when I visit the weather has been dry and they don't look so great. It rained so I decided to head down and see if I could find any and of course the day I decided to do so I didn't find any lol.

I did happen across a bunch of other mushrooms though, there were loads of these yellow Amanitas and some were huge!

I also found a few that I can't seem to identity and would love it if anyone could give me a lead. Reverse image search was giving me a lot of conflicting options for this one and none seemed right. They were growing in a clump near water and pine trees.

The color is honey tan in top and also under the gills. I have seen these in a few other locations too. From above:

The last one I came across reminded me of turkey tail but it was growing out of soil and I believe turkey tail usually grows on wood. It also kind of looks like an old decomposing chicken of the woods... It's not an exact match though and once again reverse image search was bringing up stuff that doesn't quite look the same. This specimen seems kind of old and busted so it might be making it harder:

Not mushroom but here's a pic of some purple asters next to the lake where I saw these. These are pretty much the last flowers to bloom in the fall and they are everywhere:

There is a good sourse - Mushroomexpert. it says, there is a yellow variety of this remarkable, fashionable Amanita Muscaria -

...which is well spread in US, but I think never have seen it here, in North Europe.

The last one - probably some Polypore fungus, definitely not edible. Was it mild, like a foam? or hard like a woodened trimming fungus? (guess the 1st one). Anyway, it look pretty enjoyable visually. ☘️

As for the 2nd one - there are thousands of species looking like that. Really have no idea what it can be, and it doesnt look intresting or appealing to me 😜 I definitely would not pick it up for my !PIZZA

Yeah the amanita is the only one I am pretty certain of, I didn't touch the last one so I'm not sure lol, looked hard. Agree on the second one, it resembles way too many mushrooms to be sure, thanks for your input!

Is it already that much of a mushroom season over there? I guess this will take a couple of weeks over here still

Nice ones you have over there!

The weather is starting to cool off a bit so they have started popping up, good luck on your hunting!

The brown ones look like a type of honey mushroom common name of ringless honey mushroom. Latin name of Desarmillaria caespitosa. The ground polypore is probably an oak polypore, most likely growing out of a root.

Honey mushroom came up a lot with reverse image search but so did a lot of other similar ones, really wish I had a local mushroom expert I could confer with >.< You are probably on the right track with the polypore, I will maybe see if I can find it again in a fresher state lol :)

The roughness of the stem of the ringless honey mushroom is what pointed me in that direction. I found some of these in Missouri last year and search for the ID high and low until finally finding a missouri guide on it.

I love their shapes, colours and how funny they can be, but always the shapes surprise me!💗

Yeah mushrooms are so diverse, it's fascinating!
