Cool findings, porcini mushrooms are the best! Last year we had lots of them in Slovenia, this year not so many.

I agree, white is one of the best. Mycelium sometimes takes a day off :))

Also people often don't pick the mushrooms correctly so mycelium is not left in the woods. Thanks for the beer and the vote!

Even if you uproot the mushroom instead of cutting it off with a knife, the mycelium will still remain intact. It is a large network that lives below the surface of the earth, sometimes even deep. it is difficult to damage it mechanically. Only bad ecology or harsh weather can cause the mycelium to die or go to another place.
