Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock - Lets Talk About It!

If you haven't spotted this drama that happened during the recent Academy Awards then this was quite a shocker! This was a very surprising event that happened just a few days ago, and brings up many issues that I think is worth talking about. There is plenty to unpack here as I delve into the many questions raised by a very famous and prominent actor, Will Smith, using violence to 'protect' his wife after a joke made by comedian Chris Rock on stage and in front of millions of people live on TV! If you haven’t seen the uncensored clip yet then please do watch it below so you can see exactly what happened.

I watched this clip with great surprise, not least because the last thing I had expected to see Will do when he approached Chris on stage was to give him a Hollywood style slap on the face. His proximity to Chris's microphone left us in no doubt that this was a proper slap with no acting. I would like to start by saying that I give Chris Rock full props for taking that beating on the chin and barely reacting to it it at all! He barely stopped smiling afterwards, did not even touch his face or rub it, and also did not retaliate in any way. Chris is a real hero and star if just for that reason.

After watching this crazy clip, i proceeded to watch many other youtube videos from various other actors and TV personalities to see their response. I was quite surprised that the majority of people were at least in part, quite defensive of Will's actions because in their view he was protecting his wife. My personal view on this has a few layers to it. I would like to start with a very ponient point, which is that we clearly still live in a patriarchal world where men feel that it is their role and job to protect their female partners from any kind of attack, be it physical or even verbal. This sentiment was echoed by various people and clearly demonstrated that we have a long way to if we ever wish to live in world of non violence. Let it be said that Will wife Jada Pincket Smith was in no physical danger, and was simply the butt of a very innocuous joke aimed more at the movie G.I. Joe than it was at her. Also its worth noting that Chris has no idea that his wife suffered from Alopecia, which was a criticism made by many people against Chris's bad joke in bad taste.

The biggest issue here for me is that Will is under the impression that his wife needs him to stand up for her, and that somehow she was incapable of looking after herself! This is the epitome of Patriarchy. Don't get me wrong here, if Jada was in some kind of physical threat then i do think there would be some justification for the use of violence to protect her, but clearly that was not the case in this situation. Also it was very obvious that Will himself found that joke quite funny himself as you could see by his genuine laughter and reaction to it.. unlike his wife who rolled her eyes and looked quite offended.

Will could have reacted to this in any number of ways! He could have let her handle it, which could mean her standing up and showing her disapproval, or walking out, or speaking publicly about the joke afterwards. He could have also just skipped the violent act and stood up and heckled Chris, but no he did not do that. Instead he impulsively got up and very quickly approached Chris and demonstrated the most knee jerk and irresponsible way to handle a challenging situation, to use violence, in front of millions of impressionable people instead.

People in a position of power have a responsibility to set a good example. They may not like that role, but it goes hand in hand with being rich and famous. The effects of influencers on the general public and our way of acting can not be disputed, and its clear that Will has some pretty serious mental and emotional issues. What Will did was inexcusable and yet very few people have berated him for it. He was not ejected from the proceedings, and even proceeded to pick up a huge award for best actor just half an hour later. I would have hoped that at the very least the audience would have shown their disapproval for his actions in some way, but instead the entire audience stood up and have him a standing ovation. This response of everyone else was, in my opinion, even worse than the act itself, and gave us all a clear signal to the world that it is OK to use violence to solve our problems What a shame! This only goes to show and reinforce the sad fact that today there is one rule for normal people, and another for those in a position of power or fame. Those in power have so much influence that others are literally to scared to say or do anything about for fear of retribution or somehow harming their own careers.

To make matters worse, Will decided to give a sermon to the audience and the world about why he did what he did. Although he did provide a small apology to the Academy (and not Chris at that time), i think its fair to say he only did so to save his own ass from any consequences that may lay before him. What was most disturbing about his sermon was that he tried to justify his actions by eluding to the notion that God had told him to do so, and he was doing it for love. Could he have possibly used a worse way to try to honour Love? I think its fair to say that we should never use violence to act in the name of Love unless the circumstances are so extreme and there is no other course of action. Will demonstrated that he is unhinged, emotionally unstable, and needs help. I hope his friends are able to guide him and give him that help, because the world needs to see that his actions were not OK and there is no defence for it.

I would like to mention just one lady who defended him because i used to think she was a wise and wonderful woman. I am speaking about Whoopee Goldberg, who gave a TV interview afterwards. This woman has, in my opinion, lost her way and is one of many of whom stardom and the effects of being in the limelight have taken their toll. I have heard her say quite a few very contentious things recently and it makes me sad to see so many people's mental health suffer so badly!

I think its fair to say that people are struggling to maintain their common decency in a world that is pervaded with lies, untruths, and of course great challenges such as COVID. I think this pandemic has taken its toll on people and that the world is still suffering the effects of two years of perpetual fear and isolation in a pretty serious way. Humanity needs to heal, and to learn how to foster positive mental health. Sometimes it seems like we live in a world where the blind leads the blind, and the people with the wisest and greatest gifts are still ridiculed and put down. Our media is responsible for so much war, hate, and an incredibly warped view of our world and what we consider to be responsible and acceptable actions.

This entire event has shown me that we still have a very long way to go, and the USA in particular cold use a drastic shake up in terms of not only how we act as individuals, but more importantly how we react when we witness something this is dishonourable. It is time that we all stood up and spoke out in truth at what we really think and feel, rather than continue to toe the line of what were told we should be saying and doing. I hope that this event marks the beginning of a total loss of confidence and respect for the establishment of Hollywood and the media in general. It seems that today those people who run this world are very worst people to be in that position. Perhaps that is just an unavoidable repercussion of being famous and powerful, as i know very well, power corrupts and the more power we have the worse and deeper the corruption becomes.

The academy is apparently considering what action they will take about this event as we speak. Until now they have demonstrated almost nothing to show their disapproval of this event, even honouring him with his award just minutes after he acted so selfishly and irresponsibly. I can only hope that they do decide to take back his award and ban him from future events as a clear show of what we as a society consider to be acceptable behaviour. I wont hold my breath, but i surely hope that happens, else i do think there will be further negative repercussions far any beyond the Hollywood stars and into the microcosm of our daily lives as we all take his actions and the acadamys reactions as a signpost to what we thing is OK or not!

Thanks for listening, and please do share in the comments what you think!

it's a psy op

I realllly doubt it as there is no logic to taking this approach! Will smith is not going to destroy his reputation for someone elses psy op

i disagree - it's purpose is to do what it's doing - create more chaos. Will Smith and Kid Rock are both puppets of the Hollyweird elite as is anyone who is "successful" there. So anything that goes down does so to create a stir - what are we not looking at while we stare at this?

Ok but it makes zero sense why they would choose this couse. Also if it were fake chris s reaction would have been very different, and will would never have first laughed
And then hit out. U cant make this shit up

see what a body language expert thinks.. this guy is a legit expert! very interested watch wow!
Body Language Analyst REACTS to WILL SMITH/CHRIS ROCK SLAP at 2022 Oscars. WAS IT STAGED?

Give me a friggin Break. Everything is a f#cking Conspiracy. Right ? Will Smith is just an Ass hole much like Vladimir Putin.

sorry, everything that happens in hollyweird and on the programming box - IS JUST THAT - programming

Then everyone needs to be deprogrammed. Everyone is completely brainwashed.

I agree...but will they? I doubt it. Some will.

This is so sad. One of the most well respected faces of Hollywood displaying such bitter ugliness. As for the people condoning it... we still have a long way to go.

But more than anything I see it as another sign that just like how people lose faith in their government, banks, and other such institutions, the centralized entertainment industry is no exception either. They are also on the way out, and in spite of immediate reaction in all media, they are receiving less attention.

It's time to take things into our own hands. Thank you for to this amazing article!

Yup so true! I didnt even realise the oscars happened until i saw this happen. Yeah time for better things from better people! Youtubers are getting more famous and popular than tue old stars which i m happy to see xxx thanks for the full appreciation too! X

I have to preface this with the fact that I don't know the answer. After thinking about it for awhile, I realized not knowing the answer has never stopped me before so here goes.

First question is: Who started it? Who fired the first arrow? It was Chris Rock as far as I know. It's not okay to make fun of someone's disease. How in hell can that be okay? It's cruel and imho should not be tolerated. Chris Rock caused personal injury to Jada.. she was hurt and upset. Is that what freedom of speech is for, to hurt others? Some think lying is protected under the freedom of speech principle. Naw.. don't think so. It's like saying you should be able to kill someone... it's all about the freedom... Obviously, there are limits.... as a quote from Jefferson clearly states.

So, Chris Rock.. never want to hear another word out of his mouth about anything.

Then there's the other side of the coin and what Will Smith did. He did the one thing that civilized people can NEVER do except in self-defense and he was under zero physical threat. Some may think he was justified. After all, his wife was being made fun of because of her disease. Yep, that would have pissed me off too. Do you think Smith didn't exercise self-control? He did use an open hand when he may of really wanted to use a close fist.

Irregardless, he was wrong to do what he did. If we can't keep our hands to ourselves, we'll never reach a civilized state and there will be no end to wars.

What Will Smith could've done... kept his mouth shut and his hands to himself until he went up to accept his award. Then, he could have addressed Chris Rock and expressed that making fun of a person's disease was unkind to say the least and asked CR to come to the microphone and apologize to Jada saying he was sorry for hurting her. I'd have had a lot of respect for that.

CR probably would've apologized I'm guessing.

Let cooler wiser heads prevail and stay on the road to civilization.

thanks for sharing your opinions! always happy to read and entertain new ideas as im also always willing to change my mind based on other people opinions or facts..

I would like to mention a few points based on what you said:

First question is: Who started it? Who fired the first arrow? It was Chris Rock as far as I know.

As a comedian and someone hosting the show it is quite normal for him to do what he did.. in fact that IS literally his job. ALso its good to realise that his joke was not only very light, but also making fun of the movie GI joe and not Wills wife.. although it can clearly be seen differently. He was almost complementing her not putting her down!

It's not okay to make fun of someone's disease.

i agree.. however Chris did not know about her disease.. it was just a very lighthearted joke based on her hair and the movie GI JOE..

Is that what freedom of speech is for, to hurt others?

freedom of speech means just that.. and comedy is a bit rude as we all know.. Freedom of speech is very different to freedom of slapping someone in the face.. and Will could have just shouted at Chris, as could his wife.

What Will Smith could've done... kept his mouth shut and his hands to himself until he went up to accept his award.

well he was the one laughing at it.. he only slapped Chris as his wife looked very upset.. and Will has some emotional issues relating to their partnership.. you ask what he could have done was heckled CHris.. just like any audience member has done for decades in a stand up comedy situation..

It kinda boils down to whether Chris Rock knew about Jada's condition before hand. If he really didn't know, then it's pretty much all on Smith.

Not a fan of making fun of people, let along making a career of it.

he did not know.. although it was public knowledge.. Chris had NO idea.. it was clear from his reaction and what he said just after "that was a nice one!"

As well as the fact that he said he had no idea she had this disease.. Chris is a clever guy.. and a nice guy.. i believe him.. Chris has been doing stand up for ALONG TIME.. i think he wouldnt be dumb enough to make that joke if he knew in such a prominent situation.. ive seen a lot of his stand up work,, its not his style.. hes not nasty like some of the comedians

Makes sense to me. :)

so nice to talk with someone who is OPEn and hasnt just made their mind up without any desire to listen.. i love to change my mind also.. i do it all the time.. but i do need to hear something significant to make me do so..

much love and light to you !

Thanks Alex.. I TRY to "hold on loosely) not to miss the truth when I hear it. I have no problem changing my views when new info is presented. It's not a contest to see who's right, it's about the truth.. truth doesn't have an ego..

Much love and light back to you. kindness is like jelly... you can't spread it without getting some on yourself..

just for fun, heres a vid showing what a hypocrite Will is!

:)

good find.. busted..
I do want to say that I thought Chris Rock handled it about as well as a person could. I like that he's taken some time to respond,, to think it all through first. I'll be interested to hear what he has to say..

yes, he's a special one im thinking.. i don't think he will be saying anything.. as there's not much left to say.. he's a legend now in many people's eyes.. full props.. im watching his stand up routines now, hes a real comedian and doesnt do cheap jokes..

maybe the best thing that's ever happened to his career.... tickets for his shows have spiked in price and demand from what I read.

Yeah, he may not respond at all....he's riding high at the moment.. don't want to jeopardize the positive momentum.

enjoy your laughter,my friend.

The joke was: "I'm waiting for GI Jane 2 to come out".

Explain to me how that makes fun of a disease? Jada Pinkett has had basically no hair for the last 25 years, and this is the first I'm hearing about any condition. Having said all that... yes, hurtful speech IS part of our freedom. You can't incite violence, but you are free to be hateful. It's such an important distinction that needs to be highlighted (now more than ever).

If this was a real incident (which I highly doubt), Will Smith should be charged with assault and be stripped of his Oscar. We're canceling people left and right for political views and geographic location... but Will Smith gets an Academy Award? What a world. lol

"Jada Pinkett has had basically no hair for the last 25 years" You might be right but searching for images from 2017 didn't show her with no hair... IDK

" hurtful speech IS part of our freedom. You can't incite violence, but you are free to be hateful"

sad...

being hateful doesn't incite violence?

Did you see any pictures of her with long hair? The first time I saw her was in the movie "Demon Night" and she had her hair cut right to her scalp and it was bleached blond. It has been her career look, from what I can tell.

Being hateful doesn't incite violence on its face, no. Are people not allowed to be racist or to make fun of fat people or really skinny people? Of course! Is it nice? No. But there is a very clear line.

Hateful: I hate [insert person].
Illegal: We should harm [insert person].

Hateful: I think [insert color] people are inferior.
Illegal: Next time you see a [insert color] person, spit in their face.

And again... the joke was not even that bad. Dave Chappelle has filmed skits making fun of kids with cancer... and you didn't catch Ricky Gervais host the Golden Globes five times? He was brutal: roasting everyone, drinking on stage, constant swearing, pedophilia jokes. When did people become so thin-skinned?

"Dave Chappelle has filmed skits making fun of kids with cancer"

I never liked Don Rickles either. :) personal preference maybe.. I'll be me and you'll be you and it's all good.. as far as I know.

pedophilia jokes?? that's as funny as making fun of kids with cancer

Her hair... yes.. saw her with long hair... maybe a wig.. who knows... not sure that it matters.

kind regards

I never said what I find funny... I'm just saying that people can make fun of whatever they want, and we are free to love it or hate it. I don't like racists either, but I will admit that they are free to think more or less about anyone. We have laws in place to protect us past that... like SLAPPING SOMEONE IN THE FACE. 😕

fair point..
Laws... hehe don't get me started...

enjoy ! Will 'the hypocrite' Smith!

I almost wonder if this was staged as a promo. Sounds strange perhaps, but Hollywood is not in good shape and they may be desperate. I think folks may be giving this perhaps too much attention, as it may be there to draw us away from more important agendas. Look here not here. But thanks for the article.

Sure, the Academy is struggling, but to stage such a low level slapping scene? Including cursing? Will Smith used to be known as a "clean" rapper. Didn't he become famous as a free style wordsmith, winning rap battles? Couldn't he just have done some bad ass improvising and stomped Chris Rock verbally into the ground? Wouldn't that have been more honorable, inteligent, not to mention entertaining? And as for the Academy, if they really wanted to stage something, such a verbal face-off between Smith and Rock would have been ideal.

Totally agree! If they wanted to improve their views they would stage something funny or dramatic.. not to desecrate their reputation.
People are so paranoid (rightly so) they loose their reasoning these days!

i heard people say that,, ianything possible of course, but after listening to Wills deluded sermon afterwards i think not.. although he is the best actor of course.. i think its lost it and needs help! thanks for the commment! x

I vote for fake as well

I just saw a clip of Jimmy Kimmel basically begging for people not to believe it's fake, so now I know it's basically confirmed😂😎

when you are in comedy and you are making jokes about people that can be one of the reactions, a very immature, unmeasured and out of place but at the end of the day an emotional measure that can happen when you play with some topics, people are passionate and I think this is the result, it is good that everything has remained only in memes and comments.

This was so obviously staged🙄 They have an "open" relationship so him trying to protect her is bs. You can touch her but not tease her LMAO🤣🤣🤣😝🤦‍♀️

I dont follow! Having an open relationship doesnt mean he doesnt love or or want to protect her!? There is no correlation between the two. Furthermore its obvious he was trying to protect her since he genuine laughed at the joke. If it were staged he would have looked upset right awsy.. no one is that dumb to fake something that badly.

It's so obviously staged you must be blind not to see it. What a bad actor🤣 Having an open relationship does mean he doesn't love her, not anymore anyway😅

Nope my vision is great, but thanks for the attempted diagnosis.. i just use logic and observation and feeling to make logical conclusions from the facts presented.. rather than paranoia alone.. anyways u are entirely entitled to your opinion but i dont believe things that make no sense or require great collusions between many people for no real reason

why not see what an expert thinks? i can appreciate that our system is utterly corrupted.. but that doesnt mean to say this is..

Body Language Analyst REACTS to WILL SMITH/CHRIS ROCK SLAP at 2022 Oscars. WAS IT STAGED?

I don't give a shit about "experts". If it's made in the USA it's all bs. If you haven't yet realized this then you are beyond help. And where do you see paranoïa lol🤣 I don't care one way or another🤷‍♀️ I lived in the south of France for 26 years where there are swinger clubs every 30 km. I've met many with these relationships. They do it all together and are very sado-masochistic. But I don't care. Each does what pleases him or her. As long as it doesn't hurt a child or really affect my life that's all that matters to me. Each his own opinion and frankly, it's not very important🙏

Thousands are dying in Ukraine but Hollywood manages to steal the show with one black guy slapping another black guy.

lol.. i can use a break from the never ending war headlines if im honest!

I give Chris Rock full props for taking that beating on the chin and barely reacting to it it at all! He barely stopped smiling afterwards, did not even touch his face or rub it, and also did not retaliate in any way. Chris is a real hero and star if just for that reason.

Exactly my thoughts too. Well said.

Found this post on Listnerds. Now following you.

Well, you already know my thoughts about this. I literally saw articles calling outrage against Will Smith "White", which is honestly racist both ways as it also means that I, as an Arab, can't believe violence doesn't solve these.

It comes down to principles really. Do you have one or not? If we apply this justification, even if the joke is HORRIBLE, many would get slapped for saying the "wrong" thing. I don't like it, and I don't really care about the Oscars, so this confirmed why I don't lol!

thanks for your comment.. im glad you dont condone violence for this kind of reason!

If Chris Rock wasn't in on it, Will would have been sued by now. Just my opinion.

Peace

what i mean is, what do you think Chris would stand to gain from suing Will.. Vs just letting it go and getting on with his life? bearing in mind hes a comedian whos fairly used to heckles, and that he would probably take a lot of flack from some people who like will..

im just curious!
also.. i watched a really good very detailed breakdown of this whole event based on a body language expert. Im not sure if you're into that kind of thing, but i think thye are amazing at what they do and their ability to discover whats going on beyond the surface i think is incredible.. if you are interested just look at the comments in this post as i linked the vid twice.. its a bit of a longun but you can speed it up or just watch bits of it.

I do agree that in this crazy corrupted world anything is possible, and im open to anyuthing.. but this one dont make sense to me as a psy op or conspiracy .. at least i dont see how anyone gained any advantage by seeking exposure in this very uncool waY?

It's America, they sue each other over nothing. Chris would stand to gain millions. It was a classic hollywood slap, totally fake in my opinion. I don't tend to look an avent, I look more at the outcome of the event and the outcome was that everyone is talking about the Oscars.

If I got up and slapped someone in the face I would have been arrested, regardless of weather Chris rock pressed charges.

The world is a stage.

Anyway, to be honest I normally wouldn't have an opinion about something like this which is why I'm probably wrong. Maybe I'm just being cynical.

nothing wrong with a bit of cynicism.. i mean.. in today's world most of it is quite true! thanks for explaining i was just curious the reasoning.. thanks MArk and have a beautiful day!

Why do u think that?

A tiny curiosity, did he slap the guy before or after he received the Oscar? :)

yes about half an hour before

This was a stupid thing to do (and say) at any time, but imagine how awkward it would have been if he went to receive the Oscar after this episode. Not that anything seems too low for Hollywood in recent history.

that is exactly what happened! maybe i wasnt clear
Will slapped chris.. then half an hour later he picked up his award..it was indeed highly awkward for everyone!

I'm afraid these Hollywood stars (be it actors, directors or whatever) live in their own bubble and lost all connection with the real world. Maybe they end up believing life is a continuous movie.

yeah.. so true.. especially the most famous and powerful.. except one or two REAL special ones.. like my favorite Jim Carrey.. who i think is virtually enlightened! and spoke out against this..

sadly they are also victims of a very powerful institution , Hollywood.. and to be a part of it means acting like they want you to act.. sad but true.. corrupted!

It's true. Hollywood corrupts.

Entirely staged. If the network (which needed an Oscar ratings boost badly) didn't plan it, they would've cut to commercial-- and definitely would NOT have went to a close-up of Will Smith before his f-bomb. Stupid. 🤦‍♂️

And you think they would've handed him an Academy Award shortly after assaulting someone on international television? (So stupid.)

they did cut the audio in the USA and did not zoom in, this image was taken from an edited version of what went live.. anyone in the uSA did not hear will shouting etc..

sadly YEs i think they would have handed it to him because that is what their whole event is about and it would have detracted seriously from the whole show to suddenly not give the main and most important. award.. instead they decided to do it afterwards, which they are now in the process of doing..

if you check the comments section you will see a post i shared from a body language expert. I found that video fascinating and a great insight into what was really going on. Faking body language and small nuances is almost impossible when on live TV.. well worth a look.. Thanks for sharing your ideas also.

I have mixed emotions. I understand defending one's spouse but I am against violence. What should he have done in this case? He can't really walk out since he was expected to win an oscar. If he just sits there, it means he is accepting what was said. It he waits to see if he gets called on stage the moment has passed. What should he have done?

firstly, let me share this!
Will's a hypocrite.. here's why.

i have said what i think in my post
he should have done nothing since it was a joke about his wife.. she doesn't need HIM to look after her.. that is patriarchy ..

but if he had to he should have just stood up and shouted / heckled him.. that might have brought some compassion and respect toward his wife.. but even that is just ridiculous since this was a stand up comedy act and he can not assume that Chris knew about her condition, which he did not..

but it wasn't about that.. it was about a man who is unhinged and with serious emotional issues.. one minute he's laughing and then he does that!? There is no justification when you understand all the circumstances.. we have mouths and can use them like he did after he sat down and shouted

I've been seeing that picture floating around lately and, as I don't watch television, I thought it was just another meme or joke. I watched the uncensored clip you included and I am disgusted. I'm even more disgusted that you say the audience gave him a standing ovation! I agree with everything you say. What a world we live in... It's a shame...

thanks for sharing proto! happy to hear your disapproval of these violent actions.

I mentioned this on another post, but I think it is worth repeating:

I tend to think the whole thing was staged... I mean it happened between two ACTORS, literally ON A STAGE.

If it were real it would have happened differently - if it were real Chris Rock would have fought back (or ran) and security would have rushed the stage or at least approached Will Smith at his seat. Instead, Chris exclaimed what we all saw happened (or did we?) while Will walks back to his seat. No security, nothing. Will yells at Chris from his seat and things get genuinely awkward, but it's all part of the show folks.

Will Smith then goes on to win the award for 'Best Actor'. Can't make this up!

also worth mentioning that security was in no way prepared for anyone in the front row to do something like this, it was unprecedented.. it all happened so fast and no one knew what will was going to do until he did it..

as for fighting back, CHris is a consumate professional. He DID clench his fist and very quickly decided not to act or retaliate. I think its becuase he was in the limelight that he knew not to do it, and it was clear that will was retreating and not continuing to hit out..

if you watch that breakdown video in the comments you can see what i mean..

Good points, I wouldn't completely dismiss the idea that it's real, it wouldn't be absurd to assume it's real (we believe the reality presented to us), it just seems a little too cut and dry to me. Seems a little bit too scripted. Too ironic to be completely genuine. But that's just my opinion, my opinion could be wrong.

Everything odd about this can be explained. We're dealing with odd people in an odd situation. I will say that Chris Rock was authenticity uncomfortable after the incident. And you could cut the awkward silence with a knife as he tried to regain his composure.

Nice response! I have to say i love Chris! His comedy is genuinely funny and rarely at the expense of an individual.. he generally makes fun of life rather than people.. i rekon hes a goodun

And yes truly anything is possible and we can all just ponder and wonder what really goes on in this world!

Ps your attitude make me so happy regardless of whos right! Its a real breath of fresh air. I will be upvoting all your listnerds posts my friend!

thanks for your inputs here, i appreciate your comments! I wont try to push my views as you have already heard them.. but i would just say simply that its very hard to really interpret actions or events like this as they can be read in totally different ways.. ironically i come to the opposite conclusions based on the same facts!

One small one is that Will laughed at first, rather than pretended to get angry.. if he was faking this then wouldnt he have just pretended to be angry right from the start, instead of taking a cue from his wife? Will has a history of going over the top to protect his wife as i have seen in very old footage from an interview in Spain..

Of course none of us knows for sure,, thats why i watched this body language expert give his opinion ( its in the comments if you are interested) . I personally consider body language experts to be an amazing way to help decide if something is authentic or not as most of our subtle cues are way beyond faking..

anyways i totally agree, you can make this shit up!

Will Smith is a complete Ass hole. That is all we really learned from this.

i also learned a lOT of people support complete assholes..

As I said on my other post. Most people are really stupid. They even think Vladimir Putin is a nice guy. Idiots. Humans are so stupid.
