Saludos a todos 🤗 el día de hoy les comparto una película francesa de drama histórico basado en un hecho real, su nombre es Les Innocentes y como se pueden haber dado cuenta es una película francesa, esta fue estrenada en el año 2016 y fue dirigida por Anne Fontaine a quien yo solo conocía por la película dedicada Coco Channel, pero esta cinta me gustó mucho así que estaré atenta a ver otras de las obras de esta experimentada directora.
Greetings to all 🤗 today I share with you a French historical drama film based on a real event, its name is Les Innocentes and as you may have noticed it is a French film, this was released in 2016 and was directed by Anne Fontaine whom I only knew from the film dedicated to Coco Channel, but I really liked this film so I'll be attentive to see other works by this experienced director.
Les Innocentes trata sobre una joven doctora francesa quien en 1945 se encuentra en Polonia sirviendo para la cruz roja de su país, su misión es curar a los soldados franceses que aún se encuentran allí para hacerlos regresar a su patria, sin embargo un día es sorprendida por una monja que le pide ayuda, esta le dice que como la monja es polaca debe acudir a la Cruz Roja polaca, pero la monja insiste en que no quiere acudir a ningún médico polaco o ruso.
Les Innocentes is about a young French doctor who in 1945 is in Poland serving for the red cross of her country, her mission is to cure the French soldiers who are still there to make them return to their homeland, however one day she is surprised by a nun who asks her for help, she tells her that since the nun is Polish she should go to the Polish Red Cross, but the nun insists that she does not want to go to any Polish or Russian doctor.
La doctora finalmente accede a ayudar a la moja quien la lleva al convento de manera furtiva, al llegar allí encuentra que una mujer está dando a luz, al querer atenderla esta se muestra muy esquiva a que la doctora la toque, se da cuenta que la mujer es una monja y por lo cual verla en situación de parto es algo confuso para la doctora.
The doctor finally agrees to help the nun who takes her to the convent in a furtive way, when she arrives there she finds that a woman is giving birth, when she wants to attend to her she is very elusive to the doctor touching her, she realizes that the The woman is a nun and therefore seeing her in labor is somewhat confusing for the doctor.
Después de atender la situación, la abadesa le explica a la doctora que las tropas de ejército ruso cuando llegaron a Polonia violentaron el convento y las monjas fueron violadas, las monjas mantienen el secreto porque de revelarse la situación el convento dejaría de existir y las mojas serían repudiadas, lo peor de la situación es que son 7 las monjas que quedaron embarazadas producto de esas violaciones.
After attending to the situation, the abbess explains to the doctor that when the Russian army troops arrived in Poland they violated the convent and the nuns were raped, the nuns keep the secret because if the situation is revealed the convent would cease to exist and the nuns they would be repudiated, the worst part of the situation is that there are 7 nuns who became pregnant as a result of these violations.
La doctora se encuentra en una situación difícil, por una lado su deber como médico es salvar vidas y por otro lado estaría haciendo algo fuera de la ley al ayudar a las monjas estando ella en territorio polaco, sin embargo aquí la película muestra como esta mujer a pesar de no ser católica y prevenir de una familia obrera de ideales comunistas, se siente con el corazón unido a estas mujeres que atraviesan una situación tan difícil y trágica, además que los bebés no tienen culpa de nada pero las mujeres simplemente habían consagrado su cuerpo y su alma a su creencia en dios y habían hecho voto de castidad , por lo que tener un bebé era impensable.
The doctor is in a difficult situation, on the one hand her duty as a doctor is to save lives and on the other hand she would be doing something out of the law by helping the nuns while she is in Polish territory, however here the film shows how this woman Despite not being Catholic and coming from a working-class family with communist ideals, she feels with her heart attached to these women who are going through such a difficult and tragic situation, in addition to the fact that the babies are not to blame for anything but the women had simply consecrated their body and soul to their belief in god and had taken a vow of chastity, so having a baby was unthinkable.
Como en toda guerra son los inocentes los que soportan todo el daño, por lo que está situación supera incluso los ideales de la doctora así como la fe de las monjas, asimismo el panorama político de Polonia en ese momento no apoya a los conventos , por lo que si la situación se llegara a saber posiblemente el mismo ejército se encargaría de borrar las evidencias.
As in any war it is the innocent who bear all the damage, so this situation exceeds even the ideals of the doctor as well as the faith of the nuns, also the political landscape of Poland at that time does not support the convents, for what if the situation became known possibly the same army would be in charge of erasing the evidence.
Para mi es una buena película que no cae el morbosidad de la violencia explícita ni tampoco en el dramatismo excesivo, sin duda tiene sus momentos de tensión pero no son tantos, el personaje con mayor carga emocional es el de la abadesa del convento quien debe tomar decisiones importantes que llevarán su fe y su sentido del deber a una pelea interna con consecuencias trágicas.
For me it is a good film that does not fall into the morbidity of explicit violence or excessive drama, it certainly has its moments of tension but there are not that many, the character with the greatest emotional charge is that of the abbess of the convent who must take Important decisions that will bring his faith and his sense of duty into an internal fight with tragic consequences.

Es una muy buena película, la vi hace un tiempo y al principio pensé que me aburriría ya que comienza un poco lento, pero luego te engancha a un punto en el que no puedes parar de verla.
