This is such a classic! I watched this a few times in the past and totally relate to the message of this film. I guess the film does the job in spreading the message across. These days, I see people use this as an inspiration to level up as well.

It really fulfils its function, and in fact one of the things that impresses me most about the film is that it is from 2001, which means that nowadays it has become quite common for films to give a message of empowerment and breaking stereotypes, but for its time it was not what was expected of stories and even less of the genre of this film, so in my opinion that also makes it stand out.
