You're right that it's nice that being a new superhero he doesn't win all his battles, although I found it a bit ironic and funny that he had the name Invincible when he's actually always beaten 🤣😂🤣....
I agree that Robot needs to show us more what he looks like, because he did, to have a body, it was super weird, almost to the point of looking like a villain. For a moment I thought he was being controlled and I didn't like that at all, because there was a possibility that Mark's father was also being controlled and I didn't want that to be the case, I wanted to see him as the villain from the beginning, not justify it somehow.
And yes, I didn't like Amber either. I did at first, but then I found her a bit of a drag. She even got mad at mark because he didn't "help" in the college scene and then she says she already knew he was a superhero, if she already knew then she also had to know that he did help. I think she got mad because he didn't have the confidence to tell her, but still, it's a bit over the top.
I liked Evatomica more and it also had a better development, that thing about wanting to save lives through other means is cool, it's like another way of being a superhero, fighting famine and so on, not just monsters.
