Series about medicine is a problem for hypochondriacs like me, but they also happen to be super interesting and addictive. I usually avoid watching them, but I must admit that I was a fan of Dr. House and Grey's Anatomy, now after avoiding any series of this style for a long time I ended up falling for New Amsterdam.
As I have commented from the beginning, it is a series about a hospital in which the new director named Max takes all the necessary measures to achieve the smooth running of the hospital and to ensure the safety and good treatment of patients and staff of the entity. A doctor with a total vocation who puts aside his personal life and his health to achieve the goals he has set for himself. Max is a character that makes you empathize with his story and it is impossible not to want to see his development.

Las series sobre medicina son un problema para los hipocondríacos como yo, pero también resultan ser súper interesantes y adictivas. Por lo general evito verlas, pero debo admitir que era fan de Dr. House y Anatomía de Grey, ahora después de evitar cualquier serie de este estilo por mucho tiempo terminé cayendo en New Amsterdam.
Como he comentado desde el principio, se trata de una serie sobre un hospital en el que el nuevo director llamado Max toma todas las medidas necesarias para conseguir el buen funcionamiento del hospital y garantizar la seguridad y el buen trato a los pacientes y al personal de la entidad. Un médico con una vocación total que deja de lado su vida personal y su salud para conseguir los objetivos que se ha marcado. Max es un personaje que te hace empatizar con su historia y es imposible no querer ver su evolución.

I was not a fan of this but I often watched clips on it and I think it's a bit interesting.
By the way, what makes you empathize with Max?
He loves what he does, he looks genuinely interested in saving lives, he sees patients and staff as human beings and not as checks, he also focuses on prevention and health promotion, he puts aside his possibly fatal disease to try to eliminate a bureaucratic and probably very corrupt system. He makes drastic decisions, but I suppose they are necessary.
I've only seen 4 episodes, my opinion may change, but so far I like all those things about him.
Indeed, he looks interesting but I'm hoping he'll fight to save lives despite the money matters. It seems to be expected since he has a good heart.
