With that being said we do hold one advantage as individuals over corporations and that's the ability to act on new things dealing with Finances faster than them
That's a very good point. Instituional investors are required by legislators to check and double check certain business models before they are allowed to invest in them. We as individuals don't have these restraints. We gamble with our money and that's why we can enjoy the innovation before anybody else. The only condition is to be willing to look constantly into new things and take some measured risks.

With those risks comes failures but also some of the biggest wins ever. To me it's worth the risk but I never invest more than I can afford to lose.
