Seth seeks out advice from Nate, a security guard at his workplace, who encourages him to act with confidence. Inspired, Seth devises a plan to create a chance encounter with Holly at the restaurant where she works. Unfortunately, his advance is met with discomfort, as Holly declines his offer to attend a concert with him, leaving Seth feeling dejected. Complicating matters, Holly receives a bouquet of flowers, which she assumes is from her ex-boyfriend, Eric, leading to an emotionally charged confrontation between them.
