Esther: The New Arrival
The focus shifts to the couple's visit to an orphanage where they meet Abigail, who introduces them to Esther, a mysterious girl with a tragic backstory. Captivated by her artistic talent and unique personality, they decide to adopt her, unaware of the dark intentions lurking within Esther.
Initially welcomed into their home, Esther's presence sparks jealousy and animosity among the children. Daniel, in particular, struggles with feelings of inadequacy as Esther captures the attention and affection of their parents. Tensions escalate when Esther exhibits controlling and violent behavior, behavior that does not go unnoticed by Kate.
