Part 2/8:
Soon after, San Mei arrives at Shaen’s home to prepare her grandmother's body. Shaen, in her grief, expresses rage and confusion, violently confronting San Mei. Unfortunately, her emotions lead her uncle to separate her from this painful scene, depriving Shaen of closure. As the body is loaded into a van, Shaen realizes her grandmother's ashes will mean never seeing her again. This heart-wrenching realization pushes a boy nearby to run after the van, showcasing the rawness of childhood grief.
