The Dark Tale of Abduction and Dollhouse Horror: A Summary of the Plot

Set in 1961 in Notz, Mississippi, this gripping narrative opens with the introduction of Mr. Van Weir, a wealthy businessman who owns a toy company. As he interviews a woman named Kobe Dhum for a secretary position, the conversation takes a bizarre turn when he compares humans to dolls, emphasizing the perfection he seeks in both. Not surprisingly, Mr. Van Weir concludes that Kobe isn’t "fit" for the job, despite her impressive résumé. As she protests, a man grabs her from behind, and the scene fades to black.
