Among the countless individuals affected by the regime's brutality are Nico and Mia, a married couple determined to escape to Ireland, one of the few nations standing against these atrocities. Faced with the grim reality of their homeland, they resort to illegal smuggling—riding a precarious path that leads them through hiding spots such as shipping containers.
Stripped of their possessions, including their wedding rings, the couple is pushed further into desperation, relying on a human trafficker to facilitate their dangerous escape. They endure the uncertainty of being hidden among others desperate for freedom—families, elderly individuals, and particularly, Mia, who is pregnant, heightening the tension of their journey.
