He found it almost impossible to live a normal teenage life; his powers made gambling and romantic pursuits excessively complicated. As a result, he intentionally downplayed his abilities, opting for average grades and mediocre competition placements. Utilizing a pair of antennas to stabilize his powers became a necessary evil, especially in a social setting like school. However, the antennas forced him to hypnotize his classmates, preventing them from noticing the unusual gadgets on his head—a task that can be both exhausting and risky.
