Part 2/10:
The narrative kicks off with a poignant backstory involving Hope Van Dyne, a little girl oblivious to her parents' superhero identities. Janet Van Dyne and her husband, Hank Pym, take on a critical mission to disable a missile endangering an entire city. However, their quest leads Janet to sacrifice herself to shrink down and disarm the missile, leaving Hank to break the heart-wrenching news to their daughter, Hope, that her mother will not return.
