With the layer set up, you can start adding cities or countries. By searching for "Guatemala City," you can quickly find the location on the map, which you can then add to your chosen layer. Repeat this for other Spanish-speaking capitals like "Honduras" or any location pertinent to your project.
When constructing a map, it is essential to be mindful of which layer you are working on, as you can only add points to the selected layer. A simple click allows you to toggle to another layer or create new ones for different regions, such as adding a second layer titled "South America."
