Part 2/7:
First, select a cell where you want the result to appear. Enter the formula by typing =DROP(
, then select the array you wish to work with. For example, by clicking and dragging from cells A1 to E6 to highlight your data range, you are setting up your array. Then, follow this with a comma.
Skipping Rows and Columns
Next, determine how many rows to skip. If you want to skip the header row, you would input 1
for rows to drop, followed by another comma. After that, specify how many columns to skip; for instance, if you want to skip the first column (the ID column), input 1
here as well. Close the parenthesis and press enter.
This results in a dataset displayed without the ID column and the header row. If you didn’t want to skip any columns, simply input 0
instead.
