Palmeiras' negotiations saw great progress due in part to their strong relationship with Orlando City, where Torres currently plays. In this negotiating climate, Orlando City had two options to put forth to Palmeiras regarding Torres’ transfer. The first was purely financial, involving a designated fee. Alternatively, they offered to consider player swaps. Opting for a straightforward cash payment, Palmeiras expressed its commitment to the deal, much to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
