Christmas Day is often a highlight in the NBA calendar, and this year's showcase did not disappoint. The day featured several thrilling matchups, headlined by a classic face-off between LeBron James and Steph Curry, both of whom continue to dominate the league with their respective teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.

The game began with a somber moment as Lakers star Anthony Davis sustained a left ankle sprain during the first quarter. After Draymond Green missed a three-pointer, Davis fell awkwardly, leaving the court and not returning for the remainder of the match. Fortunately, it was reported that Davis would be okay for the Lakers' upcoming game.
