Boromir, known for his flawed humanity, ultimately succumbed to the temptation of the One Ring. His attempt to take the Ring from Frodo through brute force was a low point, but he found redemption in his final moments. During a fierce battle, he bravely defended Merry and Pippin from a swarm of orcs, sacrificing himself to save them. His act of nobility ultimately illustrated that true worth is not dictated by social status, but by one's actions and moral choices. Boromir met his end on February 26, 2019, of the Third Age, marking the first casualty of the Fellowship in their journey.
