Prepare the Baking Pan: Use a large baking sheet (approximately 30x40 cm) and line it with parchment paper. Lightly grease the paper for easy release.
Pour Batter: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
Baking the Rocambole
Oven Settings: Preheat the oven to 170ºC (340ºF).
Bake: Place the pan in the oven for about 12 to 20 minutes. Keep a watch on it; you want the cake to turn a light golden color without overbaking. Overbaking can cause the cake to dry out, making it difficult to roll.
Cooling: Once baked, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
Filling the Rocambole
- Prepare the Filling: While the cake is still warm, mix the dulce de leche with shredded coconut in a bowl until well blended.
