One of the most significant barriers to progress faced by the youth is their mindset regarding personal agency and opportunity. Acknowledging their struggles, Dr. Chukum encourages young people under the age of 35 to leverage platforms available on the internet for skill development and international opportunities. He argues that formal education should pivot towards supporting self-initiated entrepreneurship and tech-oriented education.
Dr. Chukum states that not every young person will “make it” in the traditional sense. However, he believes that a significant number can achieve self-sufficiency and financial stability by adopting an entrepreneurial mindset and capitalizing on the myriad of opportunities present in the digital space.
