Tragic Bus Accident Claims Lives in Mumbai

A devastating accident in Mumbai's Kurla suburb has left at least seven people dead and 47 injured after a bus operated by the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) lost control late in the evening. The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. local time, sending shockwaves through the local community and raising concerns over public transportation safety.

The chaos unfolded when the bus, driven by 43-year-old Sanjay Mo, reportedly accelerated uncontrollably after the driver lost control of the vehicle. Witnesses described a harrowing scene as the bus struck multiple pedestrians, plowed into several parked vehicles, and finally crashed into a residential complex before coming to a halt.
