Game Strategy and Running Game Discrepancies
In discussing the play selection, a significant imbalance in the run-to-pass ratio was noted, particularly given the cold weather conditions conducive to a running game. The coach explained that some of the designed runs were converted to pass plays based on the quarterback’s read of the defense. However, he admitted that more running plays could have been incorporated, especially with the strong performance in the first half.
