Media personalities, including Tommy Curran, have noted that Oliver Connolly of The Guardian highlighted a 400-page document that Belichick presented to UNC authorities which outlines his vision for a future role there. According to Curran, there is a strong possibility that this document serves as a sort of "trial balloon" for Belichick, allowing him to communicate his aspirations and demands clearly. He appears willing to negotiate but is not shying away from asking for significant control over the football program, potentially even requesting that facilities be named after him.
