Following the disappointing loss to the Lions, the Vikings ventured into the wild card round against the Los Angeles Rams, where they hoped to redeem themselves. He ended the game with 25 completions out of 40 attempts, totaling 245 yards, one touchdown, and crucially, an interception along with a fumble that was returned for a touchdown by the Rams.
