Clark’s trajectory continued to soar throughout his junior year. His statistics were awe-inspiring—he hit .577 with nine home runs, a .717 on-base percentage, and posted an incredible slugging over 1.100. He stole 22 bases in just 25 games, showcasing his versatility and speed. As a pitcher, Clark regularly clocked close to 100 mph from the left side, achieving a remarkable 0.74 ERA over 66 innings, striking out 159 batters while limiting opponents to a minuscule .055 batting average.
His contributions extended to the international stage as well, leading Team USA to a gold medal at the 18u World Cup after a commendable performance. As his senior year approached, expectations for Clark ratcheted up, and he rose to the occasion.
